Great explanations as to WHY we should mind map. It’s become a huge part of my daily work life. I use it primarily for collaboration and planning, but I need to incorporate into my personal learning process. Thank you for making these great videos!
I found out your channel yesterday and i've been binging your videos like it's a netflix series xD lol. Anyway I wanted to say that it's absolutely amazing to watch your videos, they're so informative and it's helping me a lot to organize my messy & scattered thoughts. Thanks a ton.
Great value from your content!
Hi, for some reason youtube algorithm have pushed me one of your videos, never have seen anything related to mind maps, so now I visiting your great video taking notes learning and really enjoy.
From Portugal I would like to say thanks and keep with the good work/fun share!
Hey Sheng, thanks a lot for you video.
What do you do with your map after that ?
Do you also write kind of a syntheses in notion / atomic notes to distill the content into a more compact text format ?
Would love to know :)
Cheers
This is good if you can stop and start but in a live lecture by the time I figure out what to record, I've missed things and out of sync now forward. Recommendations?
It does take a lot of concentration and mind mapping a live lecture is more like mapping a meeting (ruclips.net/video/UDkspKf8Pms/видео.html). If you're able to know the structure/agenda of the lecture beforehand that helps a lot with organization so you can focus on capturing the information rather than worry about where they go. It also definitely gets easier with practice. My first few maps were a mess!
What are your thoughts on mind mapping apps such as MindMeister vs handwriting ideas out?
