DJ Studio works with stems in a transistion windown. But if I want to make a remix from 1 song? Without transistions to another song, is that possible? I would love to make some own 12 inches of original songs using the stems of that one song loaded. Thanks!
How do I get a track with AI warping - like one of the examples in the video to tempo match to one of the drum packs from the sample track as the master Tempo if I just want to enhance the drums for house music?
Hey Benjewel, Not too sure how you mean exactly. Do you mean how you can use one song's drum tempo as the master tempo for the whole project, after which you can then enhance those drums further?
@ if I take Chic - Good Times and use AI to analyse the track the bpm varies. If I take a drum pattern loop from the sample packs, which have a consistent bpm tempo, how do I make the sample lane the master tempo so that Chic has a consistent tempo with the new drums? The drum sample otherwise is matching the varied Chic tempo
ahaaa... Well the sample lanes can never be the master. But you can switch the tempo lane to Manual. The tempo lane becomes the master and everything including Chic will follow the fixed tempo you set in there. I have a realy long answer for you including pictures but thats too long for this reply. If you send me a message with the circled button in the bottom right corner in the Studio then I can send you the detailed explanation how this works.
When you legalize a track prior to exporting, does it actually replace the songs in the mix with the newly downloaded MP3 to get the best quality or does it just check you have the MP3?
It replaces the streaming track with the purchased track, or if you have the track in your library, it will prefer that one and replace it with the local file. We are not allowed to write streaming music to disc.
With Legalize, we mean that you need to buy the track to get the right to do whatever you want with it. Streaming music cannot be downloaded to your disk and thus cannot be exported to a file.

The Sugarhill Gang where just 3 guys rapping over the top of various loops taken from the extended 12' version of Chic's 'Good Times', the intro and breaks where sampled from Love Deluxe's 'Here comes that sound again' they never played any musical instruments on it whatsoever...

Just to show off that we can follow live music as well and sync it to other variable tempo tracks ;-)

what do you mean legalize?
