Folks I started w/ Danny's book about art before breakfast and so I came to sketchbook school. What I sketch looks more like a bunch of stickmen. Anyway I have fun and I love y'alls unforced and easy approach to art.

It's funny because I also use the Pentel Pocket Brush but I have no issues working details with it, its just about having good pressure control as the tip is pretty thin, perfect for details.
I am an artist with talent , and a friend of mine has talent and education , he always insist on me to start with geometrics , distances , and measures .
These are fun, amazing, and I cannot wait to try it! Like you said, it's not masterpieces to hang on your walls...no pressure.

Omg none of my sketches even look borderline like the original characters ! But it's a great idea to start with black and white pictures
