So am I correct in thinking this extender acts as the same kind of device as the units in a wifi web that blankets the whole house without interruption? Or am I way off?
how this extender help to extend wifi signal? i have to connect my device to the extender or to my router ? normally i have all my device connect to my router.

they would come with 2 separate SSIDs. I think what you are thinking of is a MESH network. You need to just get some MESH hubs or... if you look into it certain ASUS routers have built in MESH functionality. so you can just get an ASUS router and set it to MESH.
Missing the important, You show the antenna and power cord simple connections, but the computer/router connections have no detail ??? On to a computer screen with no detail how you got there. Can you run a cat5 from the home router into a far away shed and use this to give you WiFi in the shed?
I just bought this and after I plug it in it flashes white for a minute then only blinks orange, never gets a solid light, can someone tell me why?

Can you plug hard wired devices, ie Xbox, PS4 directly into the Lan port on the back of the RE6500. so it act like a bridge?

I'm attempting to setup my AS1200MAX/RE 6500. We use Macs, it seems no one can explain to me why white light only blinks red. Any advice?
Red light means it cannot establish a connection to the router. You might have it too far.

i always loose connection. then i reboot from the computer then everything reconnects again any thoughts?

Ok smart guy. What if I DON"T Get the steady white light?
All I get is flashing red light after the flashing white is complete even in the same room with the router!?!?!?
