In my day hairdressing, 30 years ago, to cover resistant grey, we used to mix colour with water, apply it to the resistant part, then add the colour with peroxide. Oh how things have changed lol! Enjoyed watching this, thank you! Anna UK. 👍❤️
So proffesional I luv the hair. I will be coming to wella to get my hair done. I wish you can do my hair this is beautiful results Thank you for sharing
Loved your tutorial trained with wella in 2019 😃just a question , why do you put colour motion conditioner in with your toner and pastels please ..Curious to know many thanks 😊
I haven’t used Kolesten in years. I used to mix 66/0 with 6/3…50/50. The colour you chose is just one tube with intense level 6 in it already? The roots are translucent!
Hi For a grey hair coverage we recomend to use 6% 20 vol. But above level 8 its more difficult to get coverage due to less amount of pigments. Hope this answered your question☺️ Wella Educator @renate.wella ❤️
I don’t. Think you will answe but I’ll ask. My hair dresser uses 88/0 with 20% developer but my grays come back in two weeks. Is there a better formula?
Master colorist here. So anything at or above a level 8 is no longer “covering” grays it’s more so blending them in with the grays so that the line of demarcation is less harsh as it grows out. There is no 8/00 88/0 is a double natural with natural being the undertone after the /
Ok so what we have been doing, and it is working. She puts straight color 88/0 on my hairline and then goes and mixes her color and comes back so it has time to sit on the hair while she applies the rest of the color and then goes back over it and now it covers I’m seeing just a few peeking through at the 3 week mark which I think is normal Thank you for your response
I have black hair colour I want to change it dark brown if I mixed half black and half dark brown colour comin is soft brown or dark brown is my hair thanks
Hello lovely @Wella Professional. I'd like to know where can I get the products please. Also, if I could purchase the products as I'm not a Hairdresser/Stylist, in case it's at an outlet only for hairdressers
Hey 💕 We're super happy you want to use our products but we recommend going to a professional to do it! You can find your nearest Wella salon here www.wella.com/professional/en-UK/salon-finder?country=GB ✨
Hi wella professional would I be able to get the products myself loved the colour do you think you could put up everything you used results were fab brilliant video will be following you now I found you.
It is not 20%. It is called 20 volume or 6%. It is the same thing. Hairdressers always use the 6% when discussing peroxide or developer, as it is also named. 6% 9% 12% is 20 vol 30 vol 40 vol.
It looks nice, but too brown for me... is there ANY effective blonde shade to blend grey in? I don't have any grey from my crown back at all... but every hairdresser I visit wants to turn me 'bronde', which is basically a brown. I've spent a fortune on highlights for nye on 30yrs because I don't like my brown hair... now it seems my choices are going brown or going grey. 🥺 neither being an OK option.
I know the feeling the hairdressers I use are exactly the same. Have been having blonde highlights for 30 years but I am too grey at the front now and the grey is not being covered but they just don’t seem to know how to cover grey hair.
I’ve just gone back to brown, 💖I’m completely white, 😌 It was a shock when first it happened, 💖but I’ve found that if I do a lighter colour on my roots which would be a shade lighter than the rest in a semi permanent, as that is not to harsh, then when roots start to come through, 💖I just do some of my own colours on strands of my hair under the top of my hair, as I have very thick hair, so it just looks like colours in my hair, just a hint of colour, 💖I’m trying to perfect it now, because I don’t like just brown anymore either, “💖It’s hard to tell any Hairdresser what I want, ❤️As they never put enough of The lights in my hair, and I don’t like bleach on my hair, as people with hair that have turned white don’t need that anyway, 💖I had premature grey, as my mum did, 💖 I Don’t like harsh bright colours, just enough to brighten my hair with natural not to much stuff 💖I have no idea about, 💖
Hello, I’m considering changing over to Wella after using matrix for many years, can I use koleston to tone afterwards as well? Is that what you’d done but obviously with the different developer?
Hi, Yes you can use Koleston as a toner. Feks after a bleach you can use it with Pastel 1,9% developer in ratio 1:2 with the coloro of your choice👌 Wella Educator @renate.wella ❤️
It's amazing job!By the way, would you recommend for me a really very good colorist in London,North London as well, bcz I don't know any!If is possible I would like you!Thank you so much 💓
Could you please tell me how I change from shade 5 brown to red colour, no hairdresser and I am really interested to change my hair colour . Could you?
Definetly looks brown. I thought they always tell you to go blonde when you are grey and white. Im both. Will browns regrowth shout more than blonde? If the blonde is also 6 per cent volume then is it any more damaging? I had vitamin b12 deficiency its made me go white and Its shedded to barely anything left.

Is it possible to cover 100% resistant grey with k.p 66/02 ? Dont we need k.p 66/0 to mix with it ??
The /02 shades are resistant cool cover and the /00 shades are just resistant cover - but the /02 shades do come out darker
