9:30 ironically you'd want to use it's ability on itself at this point lol. Also could have gone water 9 sound 4 which would have been cool but not sure how good that would have been.
I did it a while ago in the path 5.8, started with baby expecting to play sound6 because I got Popilo as a first egg but got the sound portal sniped and got Lapras in the water region instead, also the draft got Clauncher already and I drafted Wailmer in a round afterward so I pivot to water9 and sound4. I got some troubles staying alive while the frontlines do still not fully evolve. But after legendary portal and got Kyogre, I swept the whole board and won at round 29 with 4 HP left. That was one of my best water9 games I ever had.
I've seen so many Water teams, most have been Hyper rolling, I saw one guy with Swampert, Blastoise, Kingdra, Azumeral, and Poliwrath all maxed tier at stage 11. It's ridiculous, seen multiple games close to that where they hyper roll and get Uber-lucky
Yeah it's really good in the late game once you hit water 9 and it starts really spamming charms; But the thing is water's late game is already naturally really strong, so you just want a t10 that shores up your midgame. And luvdisc doesn't really do that.
I agree most of the water unique units are bad. Like for example there are two delibirds, and i swear they're just there for the Lulz considering it can heal the opponent. Which is honestly funny, but not when its your only water choice
Could've been an option, but these days having ice is truly invaluable. Besides all the units I needed to have a lot of AP got it anyways. I think a dawn stone is not all that if you're not playing full psychic.
Given the haunter nerfs, that's probably not possible anymore. To try and counter water I just try to play Ice or spalsh in as much Ice as I can in other comps. Doesn't always work, but for example in ground (which already naturally scales some mr through the round) having Ice 2 or 4 makes a HUGE difference vs water comps.
"you're either going to be playing water or countering water, and winning thanks to me so, your welcome" 😂😂😂
Congratz on the tutoring! Love the videos and the random tangents! Keep it up
Thanks :) I was stressing out over it a lot before going but it actually went really smoothly haha

I was talking to kyra yesterday and he said that unique is good with sooble because it charms the backline while the other kill them

bro became what he swore to destroy
We live in a society 😔
Yeah I got a tandemaus for my unique when I was playing water but put a water stone one it and got 2nd
With the number of spoons you were getting you 100% could've made two dawn stones instead of ice stones to get +50% ability power on two mons

I used to try and counter water with haunter but now I have no idea
Power lens on a high special defense pokemon is great
@ ah yea smart, maybe on a chansey or something

Had been a while I'd heard you say that one, I was wondering if you forgot lol
