I love skinny jeans. I won’t never stop wearing them. Skinny are the ones that fit me best.
Awh man. The hate for skinny jeans is sad. I was class of 2014, and skinny jeans were THE jeans all throughout my life until graduation. I remember being bullied because I didn’t have skinny jeans, and I had flares/ bootcut.
Long story short, keep wearing what you want. If we all wore the same thing, it would be boring. Embrace what you like, and be authentic to yourself regardless of trends.

Same thing happen to me, all thought I wore baggy pants in high school because I was poor and was teased for that
Reason for being baggy I was loosing weight
But I still love slimmer pants cause my legs arnt long so the make my legs look long

I hate skinny jeans because they’re often so uncomfortable, they were part of that era of fashion that glorified eating disorders, and they often don’t look good

Believe or not some people don’t look good in baggy pants either.
I happen to see both sides of people who do or don’t look good in skinny jeans the same way baggy pants can look bad/good on people
Theirs no one style that fits for everyone.
@@user-ed7et3pb4o I respect your choice, and with that said, don’t wear them. No one is telling you to. Not every style is for everyone. A cut of jeans is not the make or break, and it’s truly not that deep.
I didn’t wear skinny jeans in school because of eatings disorders or to fit an unrealistic standard of that time… it was just what was popular. And my mom couldn’t afford what was popular when we lived in the women’s shelters. When I got my first pair, I was elated to be able to fit in with the other kids. Now as an adult, I’ve grown out of seeking approval from peers.
Furthermore, I feel social media nowadays is much more toxic than a pair of skinny jeans back in 2009-2015. Do not blame the pant. Blame the society that pushes unrealistic standards on people, back then and now. But, as someone who lived through the wildly popular trend, it’s funny to see people hate on it.
I’ll keep wearing my skinny jeans 🥰

I feel sad many skinny jeans are heading towards landfills now and I'm confident they're going to be popular again at some point, for some people they don't look nice & if you find anything uncomfortable, that's it, do not wear it, but if you like skinny jeans or any item PLS keep wearing it!
We don't need clones wearing the same trendy thing everywhere and we need asap a more eco friendly mindset

Skinny jeans have literally been the mainstream standard of jeans now for over 20 years! no true fashion pioneer will be wearing them. You guys are soooo regressive. Looser styles of jeans still haven’t caught on with the wider public. It’s not a statement 😂
But spandex/elastane can only last nine years. I think we'll have to wait for designers to make new ones later. P.S. I'm not sad if the rise is too low. Please send those to the landfill.
@@Orbitinbloom19018 Skinny jeans have been in the public consciousness since the 60’s. And they became a mainstream staple in the 2010’s, beginning with skaters in the early 2000’s. And they were just referencing early punks Like The Ramones in their cigarette jeans. And capital co-opted the cool, as usual. You can’t be over 25 if you think skinny jeans is a punk statement today. Aunties and grandmas are wearing skinny jeans lol dude bros and middle aged millennial men. if you’re in America, chances are, skinny jeans are still very ubiquitous. Don’t follow fashion, you’re almost always behind and too far ahead. Every decade is a reaction from the last.
I feel like skinny jeans are timeless. Hedi proved and is still proving it every day. It does fit one specific type of body and the silhouette is unmatched in my opinion.

I think it's funny how young people say they hate skinny jeans like they had just invented loose jeans. 😂 How are you going yo wear wide tops with loose jeans, you need to balance the proportions. I'm glad we have many options now and I believe skinny jeans is not going to anywhere.
Personally I think wearing a wide oversized top with skinny jeans makes you look top heavy. But i guess on some body types it could work.
I wear oversize tops with cargos/wide legs and i love it (and im a thin person). I never liked skinny jeans! Those tight jeans are a disgrace for humans lol but well, i do feel grateful that now FINALLY we can see some variety of styles in stores

Personally I'd say wear what you love and makes you feel good, as everyone has an opinion and it will always be different, and what's 'trendy' changes all the time. I personally really love wider leg styles and have been wanting them to be popular for years before they were, and now I have a few pairs I absolutely love and wear all the time, but sometimes a skinny or a tapered jean pairs better with certain styling choices imo.

damn, there are some terribly-dressed people making all sorts of judgy opinions, here. Enough with the Tik Tok Y2K fashion. It's aged terribly (and was bad then, too) and isn't worth retrofying. As for skinny jeans, they do only fit a certain body type, but will eternally be classic on that type. Ultimately, it's the people that mesh classic style with their own original/unique aspects that always look best. Enough with this trendy alien-lookin shit. Cropped , tapered and vintage high waist jeans are much better for me, elegant and easy to match with fancy clothes.

Hahaahhaha, I'm never letting go of my skinny jeans. I have tried the baggier style in jeans but it does not suit me, I can do mom jeans to a point but I can very quickly look like a square. But I do really like myself in suit pants with a flowy wider leg.
You just have to make sure you have a fitted waist and ideally quite a thin fabric

I think if you dress in a way that flatters the lines of your body and your clothes look clean and are good quality you can wear what you want. Most people say they hate skinny jeans because they are not flattering on many people. Many of us are still traumatized by the memory of being restricted by the cut of these pants. But I personally find form fitting skinny jeans more attractive than the giant low rise parachute pants that are in now, or the baggy high waisted mom jeans that preceded them. I’m skinny so I feel sexiest In slim cut pants and I feel like I’m drowning in the baggy ones.

Je déteste aussi les petits sacs et le strech dans les vêtements ou encore les chaussures trop hautes qui donnent au pied des allures de sabot de cheval ( en plus ce n'est pas pratique,).
Je rajoute les habits déchirés, les trucs trop échancrés ou décolletés et les vêtements asymétriques.
Je ne porte pas non plus les sacs sigles, les logos, les truc hypergirly.

There are a lot of places you can get feminine utility clothing. Obv Dickies, but Wild Fang is great for androgynous technical wear too.
I’ve always been into skateboarding and street fashion; I suggest looking into skate pants like from vans, empyre, or huf.
Edit: wild fang does typical work wear styles cut for feminine bodies and in wide range of colors, like lavender.

I understand distressed jeans when people are going for an alternative or laidback look because that's where the style came from - but distressed jeans with a blouse or otherwise dressy top is so strange to me. I don't understand why people try to make distressed jeans look chic or dressed up. It just looks disjointed..
So time to break out the skinny jeans and shelve the baggy cargos.

See through is a terrible trend, and I've mentioned it somewhere before. It will be used as an excuse for clothing producers to save even more on fabric and will give us a setback in quality for ALL clothing, whether intended to be see through or not. Good luck finding an opaque T-shirt in spring/summer 2023.
Does it look good though? Nah. It looks gaudy, desperate. Only when layering with at least partially not see through clothing can it be truly pleasant to see
