That is a damn fine and well stated statement!!! I can attest to that, because as a kid…. My first white tail was as a kid. And it was a nice fat 4 year old doe!! Did I want a big old corn fed 12 point king bruiser…. Well for sure…. But sure wasn’t gonna pass up a good meat source to fill the freezer!! And to me, that hunt was a trophy hunt!!!!
😂🤣😂🤣you might have to build an addition on the house for a trophy room, I had to. That’s a beautiful deer he as really nice coloring and very respectable head gear to. You have some really nice trophies sir congratulations 👍🏻👍🏻
This new mount has 2 special things. It is a nice buck (would love to have one), and it will remind you of the time you saved the life of the larger buck. 😉 One day I need to visit the US to get myself a nice buck to add to the trophy room.
Ooh neck shot big buck! Congratulations on your nice buck. Good for texas deer I hear. Come to Iowa bring str8 wall or .350 or gr8tr. Cornfed critters.
Nice buckaroo 🦌. Cool deal on that wildlife taxidermy shipping service. If I get a nice mule deer in Utah I would love to get it mounted and eventually on the wall
Nice deer. Some taxidermy dudes do very good repairs to broken tines. I would never score for B and C if it's been repaired but it's a tribute to the potential size the deer had going.
Should've, could've, would've. The deer on the wall is better than the one that isn't. That's a great buck and an ethical harvest. Older, more mature buck that is near the end of the average lifespan in the wild. Wildlife management 101.
That other buck was a good buck but he didnt have the points to be 140...might have made 130 unless im not seeing something right...i got a big 8 this past january and i cant wait to put a tape on him...he might be 135 ish
@@WHOTEEWHO I was just out of service, and with two kids, and very little means, but I made it to SA in 2003-wife and I have fond memories of that trip!
Trophy bucks are in the eye of the beholder. We all have different opinions depending on where you live and the general quality and quantity of the population around you. My area of Michigan. I regularly harvest 120-140” deer. With one at 163. But in Florida a 163 would be calling Guinness.!! And in some states 163 is average. So don’t be so quick to judge someone else’s deer.
If I saw it right that deer was an 8? I doubt it’d make 140. I have an 8 on the wall from Kansas that’s massive and only made 136. You probably saved money and didn’t piss off the owner by taking the broken 10. Lol. And maybe you can go see that 8 this year 😃
Adam, I know you’ve said you would like to take a deer with each different caliber rifle you own, but considering how many different rifles you have, you are going to run out of time to hunt! Good luck with your pursuit, though. 🦌👍🏼

that's a nice buck for anywhere in my book but a trophy is truly in the eyes of the beholder

He’s a stomper with plenty of character. That and decking him on the last day of the hunt is what makes him special. Thanks for sharing Hooty!
Nice buck. You need to give us a tour of your trophy room sometime. I bet it’s impressive with everything you hunt.
That's awesome! Appreciate the tip on the shipper.

That was a young buck nice pass. Nice buck going on the wall.

That's so awesome Hoot, if u can try and go Nilgai deer hunting in Texas. 🙏👍👌
Screw the mounts, tenderloin, biscuits and gravy, almost as good as wabbit biscuits and gravy!
I wanna see the 264 or 220 sight in. I'm waiting to see if your 264 kicks like a mule lol
Stay tuned. Soon
Bought a savage axis 2 in 6mm arc today, after getting it sighted in was shootin 1/2 in groups at 100yds

Nice looking mount! At least you have a reason to go back to guitar ranch this coming season WTW.
Nice buck
Bro, that is a good deer.
That deer, the 1st day was a really good. Deer too. Either way, Congratulations.
Speaking of deer, you should do a 400 Legend review.
❤❤❤
Love the channel man. I can’t remember where I seen it so I’m asking, what time does the meet and greet start at tolivers?
August 3rd 9am-3pm. Appreciate you watching
Very nice deer
You got the right one
What a shot!👍🙏😎
Nice buck! What weight did it dress out at? I'm sorry if you already said it.
I forget, but we weighed it in the hunt video
Did it take very long to get it back? Nice deer
Almost 2 years
Note to self next time: Send it!!

@@MattMcCurley bout 180 yds
Crazy how bullet went through and through at that yardage

do you ever count "halves"? like its just a nub but not a full tine?
I think the tennessee regulation say anything over an inch long counts as a point
This year I am after a huge 9 point he’s tall rack and I can’t wait to finally get my chance at him he’s been on our land 3 years
Good luck!

I'm ticked to get a 100 inch buck 🤣

What was your shot placement. Just curious
Look like high shoulder or spine
That’s a nice buck by my standards !!!
Me too!
Your standards are low
I disagree. All about access. I'm not rich and don't own or have access to land full of deer. I am happy to just see a doe.
Want to see all those in the safe room up on the walls!
Let’s go!!

Nah, just get different state tags.
That was a lousy shot . It happens.. but omg , u almost missed.
Not 140 imho
Not even close.
Savage should take a hint from other manufacturers and leave the gun-hating state of MA.
(Move to Hall County, GA!)
👍❤️👍👏🏻👍
😘💕👍👍
I got a true wld six point bigger than your ten.
Awesome

Hey Adam
Hey
Hey everyone!!!
Heyo
Be more impressed if it was not a high fenced ranch
It is not a high fenced ranch. Clearly said that in the video and also in the full hunt video.
Wow... You almost can't see it's in a fuckin cage...
You must not have watched the video. This is not a high fence deer. Free range whitetail 👍👍
Wrong. Thats a feed pen setup around the feeder. Those are cattle panels. We do that here to help keep out the hogs, cows, horses.
