These guys may be the best hard rock band I've heard in over a decade. Great song writing. Great musicianship. Great imagery. Please tour the USA soon!
Saw them a couple weeks ago and it was as significant a gig to my life as when I saw my first band I can’t remember the last time I had gig ‘comedown’, hope you get to see them soon!!! I’m sure they will make it across the pond
These guys are so fucking good. Seen them live in munich a few days ago. They deliver even harder than on their studio albums. Go watch their shows and buy their merch. ;)
I do love this, the energy is great. It reminds me of Rush "Anthem" before the verses. The background chords in the instrumental are Hotel California (notes during verses). Great stuff though.
@@unruler Nah, I hike all the time, so I could probably go a decent distance before I couldn’t anymore. I’m no superhuman, but I’m also not at the level of not even being able to walk a short distance.
I think the video is about idiotic modern people disconected fron nature and therefore/also their origin. Started with a parody modern hiking Fashion Videos, evolved into a blog thing and then they are tripping hard and having visions of old pagan cults, which are mysterious and maybe real .
" 'Hunters in the Sky's was inspired by the Right to Roam movement, who protested the banning of wild camping on Dartmoor last year. It's a song about standing up to the English aristocracy's attempts to control our common land, and a celebration of the beautiful Dartmoor landscape, from Wistman's Woods to Cracker Tor."
Like many Green Lung songs , " Hunters in the Sky " references ancient British folklore and legends . In this instance it is the old tale of the Wild Hunt , a spectral hunt that careers across the land and through the sky . The legend is known throughout Britain and the Hunt itself is known by many names . The leader of the Hunt is variously referenced as the old Saxon God Woden , Herne the Hunter , the Saxon King Wild Edric , or the Devil . To witness the Hunt is said to have various unfortunate consequences ( madness , death , being snatched up and carried away and so on ) and is sometimes spoken of as a presage of collective national disaster ( war , famine , etc. )
There's been a todo for years about Ramblers, because apparently walking has been politically divisive for awhile now. In particular, land that's been publicly accessible forever is being sealed off by new landowners who can deal with the tax bill in other ways.

You don't browse Bandcamp enough I guess.
I also suggest Elder, Troll (the one from Oregon), and Devil and the Almighty Blues.
This might be my favorite track off the new album! Killer riffage!
Saw them as opener for Opeth, awesome band live!
Excellent song. From 2:57 sounds so much like Hotel California.
Great tune lads! Keep up the great work!

Just at Dartmoor walking around the Tors listening to this. Pretty sure this where they filmed the vid

Honoured to have played my small part in this ❤️🩹
Found my new favorite band
That video was silly and fun.

I might be repeating my self but... BEST BAND EVER!!!! So far the best video of you guys 🤘🤘🤘Keep it up
🤘🛸🤘
I love the video. It makes me want to get in my car and drive to the mountains and hike until I physically can no longer do so.
So hike for 12 meters?

Great song and video!!!
Love the song, also that bit of ‘Midsommar’ vibe to the video. Looking forward to the show in Glasgow.
Do these guys ever tour in the U.S.? Just found them and love them.
"Strange Stroll" nice. 😂
Gives me some serious retro vibes a la Ghost and I’m here for it! Keep ‘em coming!!!
Sorry, way better than Ghost.
@@clarkbuckner4900 Opinions are awesome.
Funny, I also have these five fingers shoes. That fits well to this strange journey
Let me take a guess: you are single.
I spent many a night at or near Haytor in my youth, this video is surprisingly similar to my own experiences on the moor
You know when the first vocal is a Tom G Warrior OOOH, that you about to bang your fuckin head ❤
great album this probably my second favorite song after "One for Sorrow"
this is what really happens when you get more than 2 days hike away from the nearest road.
Great video, great song
I thought for a moment the girl was Victoria De Angelis
I like the band, but for me it seems, that the vocals are sometimes a little bit too flat here...
I love more the "Black Sabbath" influences.. 😅
Another reason why i just bought Tickets for cologne xD. Maybe ad that bit about the right to roam movement in GB in the description.
Somebody pass the pipe
I love this song! It's a bit Judas Priestish
Příšerná hudba
OMG: WTF?
I … don t understand… the message behind the woke kind of video part…
It makes no sense combined with the music.
I don t get it… at all.
