All of the members always had input, and that is what makes a band complete. Else they wander making half baked solo albums. The Whole is greater than its parts (flame one)
He knows exactly what he´s talking about! Martin wrote bits, made demos at home using guitar or simple keyboard. The rest was Alan´s job. Months in studios while the rest were basically having holidays with breaks to sing the vocals. Compare Enjoy the Silence - Harmonium (Yes, that´s Mart´s version) and album or single version what Alan (and Flood) did with it. What Fletch was doing remains mystery. "Did some additional mixing" - haha. You call yourself DM fan? Wilder is a LEGEND!!!
It sincerely seems like the vocals are not genuinely stage vocals until the very end. With this video anyways. Maybe the uploader matched (pretty good) or it was the production that day. How great it was to see Alan in action!!
Alan Wilder is the greatest producer for electronic music/techno instruments in history. ;) The sound is definitely Alan's, not Martin's. Together they were just perfect. Add Dave's voice and you are done :)... (Did I someone hear, there was a forth guy? hehe)
Do you even remotely know what you're talking about? Martin Gore wrote this song, it has nothing to do with Alan Wilder except he did some additional mixing of the song... and don't insult the other band members when you are an absolute nobody.
Really rare!!! Never seen this before, thanks for uploading!
Depeche mode i will always love you!!!

Probably the most percussive in the early days of the group.
