I was 71 in September… And I used to be considered a “nice girl.” I was such a people pleaser, and I realize that the Lord does not want us to be a doormat… And so I have scaled back what I do and who I do it for, as long as I please The Lord Jesus then I am content. Hello Diva, This was such an amazing chat video. I know we have talked about these things before. Yes I seen a lot going on social media. I don’t like drama either. My favorite saying is I can’t be so bothered. My daughter knows. Yes you’re very right about the lord. He knows and understands. I always talk to God like he is sitting right by me. It’s always good to connect with people that are on the same level. You did make me laugh when you said about God saying about the subscribers or followers 😂 God does know our hearts. There are some good people. I’m very thankful & blessed for the good people that love me just for me and don’t judge me. I’m so sorry about your daughter. She will be in my prayers. I think sometimes we serve God the most in the small moments. It’s the kindness to a stranger, for me it’s trying to show genuine love in all things. I don’t like cooking either and one of the things I do is cook for my family to show them love … even though I don’t enjoy cooking… I do enjoy doing nice things for them. Hi Dear Karen. Oh , this was so good. I like these deep videos on life. You are so right, solitude is not loneliness. I am with myself a lot too, being an emigrant I also do not know the people around or have some years long friendships. Those one creates through a lifetime. I believe person needs one or 2 good friends and it is enough. And yes, it should be someone of your tribe..because then you can really see and eye to an eye , as they say and it makes this union one of quality. You seem to have this journey figured out, good for you and an inspiration to others. Time does fly as we get older, I see it too. If you reach level of your life you do not need to prove yourself and run after accomplishing some big goal it takes stress out of it. Some people pile up those bucket lists on them and it gets too much. Of course to each its own. And then all we need is a good health. That is my worry for going forward. I feel for your daughter as dealing with pain takes so much out of the person, let her always be strong to manage. Health is a wealth. I also enjoy a section with a cat food at Walmart..lol.. you really meet some lovely fold there. Being bit taller I reach out to the shelves too. I enjoy a good trip to Walmart and people always seem to smile and chat a bit there and it is sometimes enough of the interaction for me. Have a lovely weekend and thank you for the video.
