For anyone putting together one of these and I have done numerous and love them, forget the hammer. Create a cube and use your body weight to push it in the corners UNTIL YOU HEAR IT CLICK. With each cube, turn it on each side and using only your weight push down and you will probably hear more clicks you missed. I have had these for years without using zip ties and never had it not seem secure. I just bought 2 more and cant wait to get my office organized.

Mine came in and was horrible lol, I hated how close the doors were to each other etc, so what I did was... 1. Make individual cubes (without a bottom) accept for the first one, and had flat end up on the connectors, put my industrial velcro, and locked them together that way, 4 high, making them 100% se ure and not flimsy, then went on etsy and got better door close magnets from someone who had problems with never receiving any and make some 100x better designed for these, so my 16 pack costed $59 which is just over $3 each and for an extra $2 each I managed to sit them 1/2 inch higher for the doorsperfectly streight, 0 headache for it, and better latches, they are well worth the money now for me, and I put 4 base chair feet on them so the lowest one isn't so close to the ground and fortified it

i waisted my money. Impossible to assemble...You connect one thing and the other part falls over. It is build like a house of cards. Spent over 2 hours and the thing collapsed again. The booklet is pratically useless.

@@adekcute1 You can put books. Just put all the heavy ones on the lowest cubes to distribute weight properly.
