Hello, I've bought all my fabric and felt, still need to get the textile pens and interfacing, any suggestions on where to find the textile pens in the USA? On the interfacing that you use what would you recommend if I'm using Pellon brand, what would be comparable? I'm ready to get started on Christmas presents for my granddaughter's, I think they will love these books. I'm so thankful for your teaching videos and your books turned out beautifully done. Can I ask if you prewash your fabric before beginning? What about care instructions for the book afterwards, do you just spot clean the book if it gets dirty, I wouldn't think you could wash it in a machine? Thanks so much for your help I know some questions might seem silly but for my first book just want to learn as much as possible so they turn out the best that they can. Thanks so much for helping me much appreciated, keep up the great work really enjoy learning from you. Tammy

      Hello Tammy,
      Thanks a lot!
I am glad you find my content helpful!
I am located in Germany, sorry, I am not familiar with American brands, manufacturers and shops.
Down below are links to the products I use, please read the characteristics, hopefully it will help you to find something similar in your location.
      Markers I use: instagram.com/p/CKvn5cCr1h2/
      Interfacing www.vlieseline.com/Products/Woven-Interlinings/G-700/
I prewash all my cotton fabrics. 100% cotton fabric has a tendency to shrink when washed and dried. We don't want our finished book to shrink unexpectedly, right.
My books are washable. I recommend washing in a washing machine at 30 degrees with liquid laundry detergent. Do not soak. Wash with a spin, do not squeeze. Lay the book on top of a clean towel, and press lightly with the towel to absorb extra water. Hang the book up to dry. Please note, the felt is shrinking and wrinkling under hot temperatures.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask if you have any questions.
      Kind regards,
      Sveta

Your tutorials are great! I mute the ones with music because the music is so repetitive but then it's very worth watching. Your English is very good and easy to understand - well done!

      Hello, thank you!
I don't cut my strips in advance, I do it right before using them.
