Strasberg Fights (Jennice vs Elena) Spring '2024

Film Fighting 1 Spring semester of 2024 at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles. We have Jennice and Elena performing their final fight scene. Both were such a joy to have in the class and we had such a good time shooting that we even got some slowmo moments that we normally don't do for the Film Fighting 1 class. They did such great job for their first fight that we had to show them off! Hope you enjoy!

Kickass! Still prefer the neck snap as finishing move, but that kick looked quite deadly!

Love the small glimpses into your stage combat classes. So thanks for posting all these up.
I DO have some feedback, though. I am just a random fool online, so take it for what it is, lol. But these last two vids...both times the final maneuvers are out of camera frame. Last vid you kind of saw the victim's sprawl, but then the actual finishing move (neck snap) is out of frame. This one you see the finishing kick, but the sprawl is out of frame.
It's kind of a pet peeve of mine and you see it in a lot of movies. "Off screen deaths" I guess you can call it. I would prefer to just see the scene in full.
I guess this is aimed at the camera man/woman rather than the performers....which is probably worthless feedback, lol. Anyway, don't mind me, carry on.

Totally agree with you. Im also grateful they are posting mixed fights with neckbreaks in first place so i dont want to complain too much as i know a lot of hard work goes into making these fight scenes
