Fun Fact about Pioneer Park. There is a volunteer group called The Friends of the Tanana Valley Railroad ( which I’m a member ) that restored a Steam locomotive ( Tanana Valley Railroad #1) which was built in 1899 and came up in 1905 to become the first steam locomotive in the interior of Alaska. We run the locomotive around the park on select days throughout the summer.
Loved today’s adventure. The Pioneer Village, the Museum & the Ice Sculpture Theater were Awesome!! Loved your face going down the slide & I am glad you didn’t get hurt when you slid off the sled. Thank you for taking us along. It made my birthday today on the 12th extra fun!!❤❤❤
The absolute excitement and pure joy this series is showing from you is simply incredible and unmatched. Awesome to see how happy and excited you have been. Been looking forward to each video each day.
Adam, the ice sculptures were amazing. I really enjoyed seeing you sled riding… I’m sure I’m not the only one who can see how much you are enjoying your time in Alaska . Stay safe and warm. ❤❤🥰
Thank you for all these memories. I lived in Fairbanks in the 60’s. It was truly an experience. It took us well into June to July to get rid of the ice. You are really having some beautiful days with the sunshine! So glad you are enjoying Alaska!
Adam, if you are going to be out in the cold for long periods of time, I recommend buying hand warmers to put in your gloves and/or boots. They'll keep your hand very warm when the cold gets through your winter gear. Not too sure if they sell them in Alaska or not, usually they are available at gas stations, hardware or grocery stores where Iive during this time of year. I'm really enjoying your vlogs in Alaska... Stay warm and keep enjoying the cold weather :)
Adam, this Alaska trip has been outstanding! I’m very impressed with how you’re making the most of your day, and enduring the cold going from 85° to 5° you are quite a trooper. Even under sparse conditions of having a way to travel around easily , you’re still showing us fantastic videos. Thank you for sharing these. I hope you’re enjoying your trip as much as we are.👍
The snow sparkling on the ground behind you while you were walking over to the snowman was beautiful 😊 Love the guy telling you to go down the slide lol and then laughing with you when he heard you laughing 😄 that was great lol. I know the ice sculptures were the main thing there, but I really liked that big wooden polar bear 😄 Enjoyed seeing the fossils too 😊 that hand-drawn map was pretty cool! Effie the mammoth really does look like that; just the head, shoulder and leg 😅 makes it look like she's emerging from somewhere. Absolutely amazing and a little sad at the same time. Another cool video 😊 hope you're having a nice evening and keeping warm!
Love the video Adam. I was stationed at Eielson Air Force Base in the 80's. Lived in North Pole for a while and spent a lot of time in Fairbanks. Coldest I ever experienced there was -47 degrees.
I saw Justin Scarred’s latest vlog and that he was hoping to make it to Alaska with you but couldn’t quite work it out. Appreciate you both bringing some positivity to the world. 🙂
Yes I saw Justin’s vlog and felt sad that he couldn’t go to Alaska with Adam, they would have had a good time,,,,,,nevertheless Adam certainly is having a ball the cold really doesn’t see to bother him too much as it certainly doesn’t keep him back from doing what he wants to. 🙏🏽❤️🌲
This was a fun video, so glad you are enjoying your time in Alaska. Loved seeing the ice museum, have never heard of such a thing before. Hope you can get some ice cleats for your shoes if you haven't already.
I'd just like to know they got the big ferry boat into the park. It's not something you see everyday. I've never really been interested in going to Alaska before but, this series is changing my mind.
He was very idealistic. Which is dangerous. Especially in that part of the country. I loved his spirit but wildly unprepared, and in that part of the country, it can and will kill you. The sad thing is he was ready to go home and the bridge that he had to cross to get back was right near his camp if he had a map and didn't eat those poisonous plants he would've survived. Into The Wild is a great movie, one of my favorites.
@@kshotts5600 he probably just misremembered. I remember it not being long. But the whole journey to get there took some time from what I remember of the movie. Brave soul, too bad he was so unprepared. Many people live off the grid in Alaska. It takes a special kind of person to make it work.
Great Alaska Outhouse Experience sounds like a great band name. Seriously, your sense of adventure and wonder is absolutely amazing. I could never go out in cold like that!
Your trip to Alaska has been so amazing so far!!! I like seeing my breath too when it's cold....very rare here in California. Keep having a blast 😊😊. 🙂🎶
Your enthusiasm is amazing! I love how excited you are getting about all your experiences there in Alaska! I’ve been watching your videos for quite awhile, I believe this trip your on is my absolute favorite!!!
These videos in Alaska are so real and refreshing. It's so different from the world most of us live in. I was lucky to grow up in N. Michigan so for me this reminds me of super memories. Thanks for that.
Walking on that ice is no joke, so thick, love how you have embraced all that is cold, very cold, apart from the ice in your drink 🤣, that gentleman who crossed you over the road, such a lovely friendly guy, keep on having fun Adam cos we are loving this content x
The ice museum in the old theater is so cool (no pun intended)! For some reason it reminds me of a dream someone would have. Like a literal dream. Especially the part with people sliding down the ice slide. "I'm in an old theater in Alaska and there's people sliding down a slide made of ice." 😅
Hi Adam you are like a kid and a candy store so excited happy to be in Alaska. I am happy for you. I hope you’re having a good time. You just seem so very excited awesome man
Slipping on ice sucks. When I go for my walks I usually wear my slip on cleats. Stay safe Adam! So much to see in beautiful Alaska. I seriously want to go there so bad now after watching your videos.

You were blessed to see Denali when it wasn’t in the clouds or fog! When we drove to the National Park the first time, it was so Lear we got to see it perfectly.
