Everyone thinks Pinicchio is Lou's first warlock, but really we all know it was Gunnie and his first patron was his crippling debt to the A̶m̶e̶r̶i̶c̶a̶n̶ galactic healthcare system
gunnie was the best warlock, he had 2 patrons. Crippling Debt to the Galactic Healtcare system, and Crippling Addiction to gambling, but its hard to call a gambling addiction crippling WHEN THE BALL KEEPS ROLLING UP
@@deeznuttes9340 I'd so dearly love to know if Lou planned on Gunnie being a rampant gambler before during character creation or if it was just something that developed at the table. I know Gunnie was known for making poor financial decisions so it would make sense.
none of the PHB warlock pacts fit into those three, so he was leaving himself a giant loophole to play any kind of warlock right from the beginning. LOL
@@itwasidio1736tbf celestial isn't in the base PHB, only fiend (tho maybe you could stretch that to be a god...? at that point anything powerful might as well be a god tho 😂)
Ok but the fact that he made his warlock a literal puppet when he had said in the past that he'll never make one because "my soul is my own" is perfect
I dont see any connection between a person saying I'll never be a Warlock my soul is my own, compared to that person making a literal souless puppet character that is a warlock
I mean, you don't HAVE to sell your soul....you just have to have compatible goals with a being much more powerful than you...of course, whether they're telling the *truth* about that, hey. xD That's campaign stuff to figure out!

It wasn’t a gambling addiction, it was a gambling solution
@@deeznuttes934090% of balls stop rolling up the hill before they reach the top.
@@deeznuttes9340 The way they sold everything to gamble.

"my soul will never belong to any man or god or beast" i would argue the stepmother doe not fit into any of those categories
And in the end he became his own patron

Should’ve said man or woman. Needs Zac Oyama to teach him about the herspital

A spider being a puppet's patron would fit together pretty well. The webs and strings.
the image you have conjured in my mind is very fun
I love that Brennan participated in the "nat20 I'm his patron" bit. I wonder what would have happened if he'd done it lol
Given how meta that season is, it's not impossible that Pinnochio's patron could've been Brennan Lee Mulligan.
@@GlennBRust basically his patron would be an author. that would've actually been pretty interesting
@@GlennBRustthere is a homebrew DM patron in Valda’s Spire of Secrets.
Lou put a gigantic comedy target on himself and hit the bullseye squarely!

Little did he know that in the end he BECAME his patron for Pinocchio's soul belongs to no one but him.
No but it makes so much sense for him to do a class that gives him bad vibes in the horror season.
And at the end he became his own patron essentially
From Warlock to Patron.
Ending on the Siobhan's dab is amazing
And in the epilogue he did technically get a little bit of that wolf juice
The adventuring parties for Neverafter were so unhinged
Fine, I’ll rewatch neverafter
Lou "I'll never be a warlock" Wilson
It doesn't have to be your souls. You just need to bargain with the patron.
He was memeing
How fitting for his character at end
of course it's ally who rolls the nat 20
make lou wilson eat his dice and then buy some new fuckin dice
The Lies of P
I'm still on crown of candy.. this stuff gets even wilder huh

Puppet got a soul
Yeah no that puppet had soul out the wazoo fam.
When he said warlock, I thought he meant destiny 2
If amethar died in coc his back up character was a warlock tbh
How are they all so pretty?
Bc they are nice and nice ppl are always pretty
It's a recorded professional set, they are all wearing makeup in optimal lightning to look good. That's how it always goes in movies and TV, etc.
