@CISCONET Training Solutions.Great video! However, I do not understand one thing,In Wall Mount 0 you connected Punch Down 1to Rack Punch Down 1 and Punch Down 2 to Rack Punch Down 2, and in Wall Mount 1 you connected Punch Down 1 to Rack Punch Down 3 and Punch Down 2 to Rack Punch Down 4.Therefore, the rack first four punch down slots are used now. How did you connect patch cable from Patch Panel Jack 1 to L2 Switch if the rack punch down 1-4 were alredy used? Am I missing something? Would you kindly explain, please?
there are 2 cables to each wall mount jack from hosts. then there are cables from wall mount punchdown to patch panel punchdown 1-4 in rack. then there are 4 cables from patch panel jack 1- 4 that connect to L2 switch.
This was awesome info. I'm half way through my CCST and have never worked on building a racks so this was all new to me. I'll be following along.
