Yes, he's come along way from this clip. Yes, he's wise beyond his years and proper talented. I am glad you enjoyed his show. Thanks for commenting back.
1:28 I can see how difficult it had to be for him to sing there, no wonder...but he mastered and look where he is today! Thank you for not giving up Jake...
Im trying to find out what the crowd chanted at his performance this year at T In The Park right before he sang broken? Maybe you could help. He got really tickled, laughed, smiled, said something to his guitarist and thanked the crowd. That crowd was the first that knew his album and sang all the words with him. He was bowled over and actually let them sing part of the verse while he stopped singing. It was a pleasure to watch this performance and to hear the crowd react to him.
another early one of Jake in Nottingham Wire and Wool Feb 2010 - Jake Bugg That's in feb 2010 about 9 months before this one. Going by the date he would still be 15 if my maths is correct!!
dear everyone who is getting annoyed that people are talking during the song, please bare in mind he is playing in a busy cafe at lunch time, im sure if you were watching someone that didnt grab your attention you would talk to your friend, it is annoying when people talk but that is how it is when you are watching a gig in a free venue where anyone and everyone can walk in,
It's nice to see someone say that! I agree, I am a massive beatles fan and I see where you are going with that. He does sound a bit Like George Harrison. His guitar style is very different though and more like McCartneys playing or Lennons earlier ones, ie 'you've got to hide your love away' or 'And I love her' etc. Excellent new artist for a change though eh?
Very interesting singer with a cool style. It's old and new at the same time. I don't know, in this song he recall me a little of the first George Harrison. What do you think about? Anyway, I like it. Jo Cantarella (60 years old - Italy)
...Hi Jo, I'm like you, when I hear music I sometimes hear a likeness to other musicians/bands.Though vocally he is quite original, musically some songs are 'Haven't I heard that somewhere before'',which is not a bad thing. He is an amazing guitarist and a brilliant song writer who's skills will only mature and get better over the years...
...my videos of Jake (as all of my other vids) were filmed a few years ago/present day when he/they was just starting out. It's not unusual for this to happen in music venues anywhere in the world.Jake has now signed to Mercury Records and will be supporting The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park,London,in the summer..not bad for someone who was unknown 18 months ago...
Yeah... i do llke this a lot. I think this guy really has something. Keep it going Jake. Music needs somone like you and your sound. Fuck the hip hop bass thumping 'cap in the ass' brigade. Are you coming south coast anytime soon ?
It's so horrible hearing so many people talking whilst he is singing, as if they are taking no notice at all. Not only in this video but in quite a lot of videos including recent ones. I wish I could sit there silently and listen to his great voice echo through the room but I know I will most probably not get the chance to, and there are people like that who take it for granted. Urgh.
no real surprise people are talking a lot will be just out for a drink, most of the acts would be pretty unknown, and I doubt they would be expecting much from a kid in a hoodie, he did get a round of applause though. I mean he could at least have took his hood down, it's a bit disrespectful to the audiance in a way.
...Hi Jo...I have not seen Jake at a concert since he got signed to Mercury...though, I will when he becomes famous !!!...
So, so proud of how far you've come!!! We love you !
Quality musician - Very exciting seeing such a young guy making rock cool again! I saw him in Chicago and got shivers watching him perform.

+tamasha wick Well it was before he was famous I suppose plus us British have lost common decency.
I hate all them. If I were there I were like: Oohh. I Love u Jake!!.
I'm assuming he didn't address the audience before beginning, not that addressing the audience would have helped lol. It's a small pub, yes?
Just what I was thinking, and I scrolled to the first comment and it said exactly that.
@@MarkPMus Jake doesn't mind because he loves playing

How could anyone talk over this voice;) you can see it on his face that he's nervous and seeing everyone ignore him makes it worse
