Map Musings: Fantastical, Interesting, & Weird Maps. Episode One
Maps, Statistics, Geography, Data Maps, Geographical Information!
Love how you actually discuss the maps instead of how some youtubers just throw them up make a silly comment and move on.
Thank you! I was/am still trying to decide if people like humor or more informative. I try to do a bit of both usually.
This 10-minute video brought me more info than 2 hours of separate ones 🔥 Great job sir 🫡
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
LOVE MAPS! That colonization map of Africa showing South Africa as colonizing South Africa-it was the Dutch first, then the Brits. I believe Italy under Musselini claimed Ethiopia as a colony, but it didn’t go anywhere and the Italians were gone by the end of WWII. The river map is confusing: The Columbia does indicate a lot of something, but it probably isn’t volume of water. The Ohio River is a lot bigger in terms of flow. Maybe it shows importance to the regional economies?? Thank you for making a space for map musers to muse.😊
I am so happy you enjoy it and thank you for sharing your musings and information! I tried to make this series grow, but the audience just never came. I am thrilled you enjoy it. Happy musing!
