Barry DePedal is a new character in 'Cars 3,' who is sponsored by RPM in the Piston Cup. He is a next generation racer, is #64 and has a blue/yellow paint job. During the movie, he replaces Bruce Miller as the RPM racer. He is available in a 2023 2-Pack with Harvey Rodcap, the Easy Idle next-gen racer.

Hey! The next time you want a custom hauler, make sure that person makes it that it opens from the back and not the sides.
The thing is that Mattel designed and released those haulers that aren't Mack to open from the sides, and the haulers he commissions are repaints of the released haulers, and retooling them would be too complicated.

I’ve had this version ever since I picked it up in late 2019. I also remember getting the 2 pack to get Harvey Rodcap too! Overall, Barry is one of my least favorite Next Gen racers.
Very good, for me the Barry pedal is the best Next gen apart from the Jackson storm!
RPM has always been a favourite sponsee of mine, I would just love to see a 2024 version of Bruce come back. Sick video as well!

Nice review. I'm honestly kinda surprised that you hadn't reviewed this variant up until now, considering it's one of many people's most hated Thailand variants. As soon as I bought this version of him in fall of 2019, I immediately regretted it. The colors were a lot more faded than on the original, the eyes looked weird simply because they're further apart, and a decal quality didn't really help. The next Gen for one of the OG 3 sponsors deserved better, and I was so happy to find the 11 pack with him, China Cam Spinner, Floyd, Carl, and Mater with Lightning Bolt right after, as I replaced the derpy dull Thai one with the more vibrant, cleaner Chinese one, and I've never looked back since. Also, I'd love it if you could review the Thailand version of Cars 3 Floyd Mulvihill. THAT one..... mmmmmight be just the worst diecast ever made. LOL

I am finding it impossible to find a Trunk Fresh Next Generation racer. There were over expensive loose diecast on eBay. No diecast at retail for us fans/collectors.

I honestly think Thailand Barry is overhated the China Barry is probably overall better
But ive seen Thailand Barry be grouped in with some of the worst releases in the cars diecast line when the variant is still solid

I'm going Crazy because i can't find Jim reverick anywhere at a good price and he's the only Next gen i don't have (besides jp Drive but he doesnt officially exist as a diecast). If someone know where to find him please tell me
I got mine from a non-US eBay seller for 6 euros recently, so I guess your best bet is to scan non US/UK eBay, because there are less sellers who actually know the worth of an item, seeing how I got my Cars 3 Rev-N-Go stock car for under 5 dollars from someone. Also do you have Steve LaPage, he's even more impossible to find.

Just gonna say this: the Thailand version of Barry DePedal sucks. The eye expression looks garbage, the decals are grainy (as usual), and they (Mattel's Thailand factories) need to seriously work on those rims for the life of them.
Okay, maybe not THAT bad. I'm just in a pissed off mood due to other circumstances not relating to this guy, currently.
