You could have caught a direct train from your town to Novogireevo stop. That platform is roughly situated for 5 -10 minutes by foot from metro station.
First, subway is considered a strategic asset, thus high security, and second - it's not open some the clock, it's on maintenance from 0:55 to 5:55 every day.
It's OK to refer to the sport just as hockey. I'm am a Mexican hockey writer 😂and as weird as it sounds, it's a fact. KHL is a great league and some of the best players in the KHL end up playing in the NHL, so, it's a great video you made, Russ. I love hockey not only because I make a living writing about it but in general is a great sport and compared to football... hockey is way better.
Well, but Aleksander Barkov is considered as 'Finnish' LOL, even though the name that he has it's pretty obvious on his roots. I love to see all the flags of countries that remain friendlies to russia above the playground. I think there is 4 or 5 of them left and there is the russian flag twice. Awesome.
These are the flags of the states and regions of Russia whose teams play in the KHL. These are China, Belarus, Russia, the republics of Bashkiria and Tatarstan. And there are many more countries in the world friendly to Russia than 4-5.
Stadium, judges, umpires?... Arena, referees. Bloody Aussie 😜. As a Canadian, we call it Hockey and call other hockey as field hockey, ball hockey, road hockey or shinny. American Hockey league? The NHL is the Canadian hockey league, that American cities have been allowed to have teams in.
Same in Russia. The Hockey is always the ice one. All the rest have an additional word field, ball etc. And I guess only the Canadians can understand how much the Russians are proud of their hockey team :) Oh yes, and we absolutely LOVE watching Canada-Russia matches :) There's nothing more interesting in this ice world than the two top teams playing :)
The NHL has always had more American teams in it than Canadian teams, and the NHL head office is in New York. If anything, it's Canada who was invited to the league. I'm originally from Canada FWIW.
@@WoozyPolarBear Actually no... sure when there is more US teams, namely because they have larger population centres BUT if you learn the history of the league and the Stanley cup you will easily see it is a Canadian league. Also you could argue that what made the NHL popular was the CBC's Hockey Night in Canada. Then you add the extremely high percentage of Canadian players... Americans as a whole know very little about Hockey and could care less about the NHL. They are all wrapped up with Football and Baseball.
@@WoozyPolarBear I have no doubt that many Americans are. After all their population is over 300M. I always found those that got CBC were more hockey fans. Of course the original 6 teams have a strong fan base.

What is the local team called? What is the away team called? What does KHL stand for? What is Vityaz? Why do you say thanks instead of spasiba? Why is it dark when the game finished if you went to the stadium at 5 in the morning? How long does a game last?
To whom are you filming this ? Record low one. If you do not know anything about Ice-Hockey please stay out and go for ballet. Vocabulary sounds irritating. You are underestimating the viewers. Well, one less after this episode.
Stadium: Larger in size and typically holds tens of thousands of people. Commonly used for outdoor sports like football, soccer, and baseball. Arena: Smaller in comparison, usually seating between a few thousand and 20,000 people. Designed for indoor sports like basketball, hockey, or volleyball.
Not all viewers know aanythf about hockey. Russel himself said that he do not know much this sport. He just wanted to show his viewers what it is like to visit a hockey game.
as empty as the soccer game...I guess it was the wrong day, wrong time, fan ID and maybe same day there were multiple other events close-by Russia Fanboys never run out of arguments 🥱
@@jerrylee4485 You put visitors together on one side. At least 75% of seats are filled, not 50. It's home game for Vityaz team. And home arena for them is in Moscow suburb, 20 kms from Moscow, called Balashikha which is realatively small city - 530 thousand people. It's really strange that so many people came to routine championship game at the beginning of the season. Besides, Vityaz is outsider, it's at the end of tournament table, it's on 9th place among 11 teams of conference "West", although 2 Canadian and 1 American players play there. I really doubt that in your country similar game in the similar town with similar team in similar stage of championship collects more spectators.

You could have caught a direct train from your town to Novogireevo stop. That platform is roughly situated for 5 -10 minutes by foot from metro station.
I love Russia. How come the Subways don't have any graffiti and garbage scattered around?
We're not Americans
Because putin don't want it
First, subway is considered a strategic asset, thus high security, and second - it's not open some the clock, it's on maintenance from 0:55 to 5:55 every day.

Hockey. That's it. Also there's grass hockey (what you call field hockey), which is way less popular in Russia.
❤
It sucks that they are having the four nations cup without Russia. Guess they were worried that the Russians would win.
Illegitimate tournament if one of the powerhouses of ICE Hockey isn't there to compete for it.

Here in America I went to a fight , and a hockey game broke out ! 👎
No incidents in this game, there was almost one, but it was quickly broken up.
I think Nikita Kucherov and Andrei Svechnikov are my two favorite NHL Russian players, but the guys in Columbus (Marchenko, Voronkov, Chinakhov, Provorov and Tarasov) are fun to watch.
Which one is better, the hockey or the football?
I love to see all the flags of countries that remain friendlies to russia above the playground. I think there is 4 or 5 of them left and there is the russian flag twice. Awesome.
These are the flags of the states and regions of Russia whose teams play in the KHL. These are China, Belarus, Russia, the republics of Bashkiria and Tatarstan. And there are many more countries in the world friendly to Russia than 4-5.

Hi Russell... Please stay safe. I don't trust Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelensky. My prayers are with Russia as well with America and the World. 🙏♥️🕊✝️
@@Peorhum False stereotypes. I've beed to hundreds of NHL games league wide, and American fans are just as passionate about the game.
@@WoozyPolarBear I have no doubt that many Americans are. After all their population is over 300M. I always found those that got CBC were more hockey fans. Of course the original 6 teams have a strong fan base.

Do they have safety features like trains with airbags yet ?
HC Vityaz not really the best first experience. Not so much people, not good fan group.
You need to go to HC Spartak Moscow to feel the real hockey 🫶
It is good you need to run alot more
What is the local team called?
What is the away team called?
What does KHL stand for?
What is Vityaz?
Why do you say thanks instead of spasiba?
Why is it dark when the game finished if you went to the stadium at 5 in the morning?
How long does a game last?

@@AlexanderTch put all visitors together on one side...then you see that it is not even 50% filled...many empty seats everywhere
