ALEXIA'S IMPECCABLE SPEECH after being distinguished Barça femenino in the Catalan Parliament

This Wednesday afternoon, the Parliament of Catalonia awarded FC Barcelona Women's Football Club the Gold Medal of Honor. For the first time in history, a sports team receives this distinction, which recognizes the work of the athletes and the Club for their contribution to the growth, recognition and professionalization, as well as the generation of equal opportunities in women's soccer. It is the chamber's highest distinction.
Alexia Putellas, as captain of the squad, made an exemplary speech: "I am proud of this distinction, it is undoubtedly a paradigm shift because society is changing and asks for it: women must be fundamental in the development of Catalan society.
