City Walking Tour With Kurt Cobain Under The Bridge Memorial Park
Aberdeen is located at the eastern end of Grays Harbor and considered the Gateway to the Olympic Peninsula. A former important logging, seafood center and seaport, Aberdeen is best known as the hometown of Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain. The walk begins with a crossing of the Wishkah River Bridge over the river of the same name. Continue to the Kurt Cobain Under the Bridge Memorial. The route continues with residential strolls through the lowlands, Arnold Hill and Broadway Heritage districts. Continue through the downtown district featuring early twentieth century architecture along Wishkah, Heron and State Streeets. Complete the walk along the railroad bridge that crosses the Chehalis River.

No offense to anyone living here, but this place looks so depressing.
The grass is dead and brown. Sidewalks and pavement are overgrown and look like they haven't been redone since the 1970's.
The houses look kinda ghetto and have paint chipping off. The trees and shrubbery are mostly ugly.
Just looks like a very run down city. Reminds me a bit of my time in Middletown, Ohio. Another run down city.
Wishkah river is ugly, too. The little park was kinda cool, but not much there.
Downtown looks run down, too.

Someday Kurt's x wife will go to jail and his name will be cleared from the mountain of deceptions heaped on him by the media and courtney. He never should have married Courtney....he would still be here if he had run.
