He was let go and not replaced...he mentioned Shania wanted to save costs and use more pre-recorded instrument tracks...She could've ditched the backup singers or dancers to save costs, but no, she chose to let 2 of her best musicians go...
@fh4742 I still put ditching Elia Wood as the biggest fail. Gooch on guitar was any slouch, either. I'm surprised Chandra Melbane came back on violin, but as she lives in Vegas and with the Rod Stewart tour on break, it does make sense for her. I'm not sure what Wood is up to. She had been doing stage work for Greta van Fleet last year.
@@RonErickson-w6n Totally agree about Wood and Gooch. Chandra makes sense, but since she butchered the solo in "I ain't no quitter" on opening night, I'd say she fits this band perfectly.
@fh4742 Gooch has the awesome gig as Kate Hudsons band leader. That woman can really sing. Her album gets released on the 17th w a tour following. She has 3 videos out there. If things go as good as I think they might turning into big time shows, perhaps Josh can get the band together again. Frank's brother Corey is playing the keyboards for Josh already.
Where's the bass player?
