We are starting 2024 with a banger. You outdid yourself with this one. This is definitly in my top 3 of your covers. Your style fits this song so well and I'm so glad that it has a different style and isn't just a cover. Especially your "unravelling the world" left me with so many goosebumps. I expected a good cover, but you left me here speechless

Came bcz of the thumbnail stayed for the song. That shifting to japanese in the middle was an interesting touch.
I am unfamiliar with the song so it surprised me when it went from this soft pensive tone and shifted to rock and your ability to go from one to the other (and back again) in a flip of a switch is absolutely awesome. I'll never stop saying just how amazing emotion just oozes from every single note you sing. It gives me goosebumps all the time. ❤ What a treat 😊
If you've never heard it before I highly recommend you check out the original, the one on First Take (is essentially an acoustic version) and Animenz's piano cover of it! All of them offer something different, but still carry so much power and emotion.

My appreciation for this recording grows. Back up vocals-awesome, must have taken a good amount of work to get that recorded and blended in so balanced to add so beautifully. The video editing likewise , it's really really good and finally youe interpretation of the sonmg. Luv this stuff!

I've always liked unravel, but recently with your (and Ado's) cover I feel like I'm able to appreciate it even more through different aspects that I haven't picked up on before! I also love your unique twists to the song which really keep it interesting! Maybe this calls for a tokyo ghoul rewatch!

I was wondering if the language switch is typically purely an artistic decision or also heavily depending on how some passages might not properly translate to english.
