Getting shuriken then band on stage 2 as engi was insane. Meant ur turrets could now proc their own bands due to shuriken
There is a mod on R2modman that someone made called "Save turrets from under population" I believe. It essentially allows an extra turret from engi to be on the map for every lysate cell you have. I enjoy it because it actually gives me a valid reason to consider Lysate cell vs fuel cell on engi.
the 3rd turret alone is already reason enough imo
A 3rd turret is already extremely good, basically a 50% damage buff to turrets except you get more procs
i take lysate on engi whenever i see it purely because red scepter was my favorite item in ror1, and lysate does the same thing just for engi

For sure, I just only ever play engi with bubble and stationary turrets. So when you had ONE scenario in entire run where I think the bubble was situationally better, I couldn’t help but laugh. 5 bubbles? One at a time is fine when you only need to cover the cell, right?
Side note, started my eclipse climb last week. Almost have every eclipse one done and a few up three. Thanks for the great content and the encouragement to push it!

Games really old and focused on meta progression not at all a roguelike but fit your description of what you were looking for perfectly
Much more fun with friends its balanced for 4 players but downscales for less, very playable solo, great stream game
Only like 2 of the dlc characters are really necessary for progression much later on just because they are very strong, being summoner, and series ev
Just dont get fooled by the polish of the sequels, there all micro transaction hell, the first game isnt out for your wallet and is objectively more fun, even though there's alot of dlc
There is not nearly enough content or attention for the game and it very much deserves
And the first game's got a redux version in the beta branches that is being continually updated, too.

I just got done playing an engi game where I had heratic m1 and it goes HARD. had mobi turrents and they share the effect and it works really well. Worth a try if you haven't done it yet
Yeah mobile turrets + visions of heresy is a combo slept on. I believe mobiles have nearly perfect accuracy with it and obviously get their poor proc coefficient fixed

To avid pot roller haters, I used to be you, but believe me it does get better after consistently just trying your best to do them every time you go there, and don't fret if it takes you 5 or 10 minutes and still fail!

Kinda new but curious if the turrets get the plasma shrimp and lose the shield bc they are targeted wouldn’t have the atg missiles been better for them
Usually yes atgs are better for turrets for this reason, but often I make decisions for umbral mithrix assuming they’ll die quickly so I try to make decisions that’ll benefit the engineer and his harpoons/equipment more

Can someone explain why he is not picking up afterburner, like... more harpoons, less downtime What are even the downsides of picking it up ?
He really doesn't like harpoons, and I'm not sure about afterburner, I assume he just doesn't find useful, and might have been saving it in case he got a recycler
I think the only tower defense game i liked was Kingdom Rush 1-2 on PC, and specifically only the later levels.
Is there a way to do the Simulacrum on Eclipse 8? that sounds like it'd be interesting to watch honestly

The equipment (Orange item) he got early was the executive card. That allowed him to buy more than one from multishop and gives him a lil money back

You forgot how E5 absolutely butchers healing and as a result makes bungus bad even on stationary turrets
