- NFL Street is an awesome football game. Even in 2022, NFL Street offers great gameplay and a fun experience. We are going to build a team of 7 players from past series and look to take down the NFL Challenge Mode in NFL Street. If you enjoy this, we could also explore NFL Street 2 and 3.
On my MrHurriicaneLP channel I make sports gaming lets play series. My series focus on building teams and players from sports like baseball and football. I play games such as Madden 22, NCAA Football 14, MLB The Show 21 and more.
My Main Channel (MrHurriicane) - bit.ly/14Sgtdz
Hurricane: "Sully, why are you like this?"
Sully: "Because you made me this way, father!"
I'll be back with the Giants tomorrow. But I'm glad so many are enjoying Street!
@Cane- You can view every players ratings you want to steal by checking their ratings in the Quick Game Menu by scrolling through the teams and then their players.
Also will help you find out who is on what teams for Ladder Challenges too.
I’m just happy to see you enjoying yourself. Thanks for your time and effort! Honestly the GOAT of sports play-throughs.
What do u play can I get it for Xbox s thanks
I’m buying an original Xbox to enjoy my childhood again because of this series! Keep going baby!!!
Steal Calvin Johnson or Michael Vick. Never seen them on your channel
Believe you mentioned it last video, but would love to see an NBA Street 2 series. People (including myself) still love that game to this day and I still don’t think it ever got the appreciation it deserved for being an all-time great in the sports game genre.
Just to give you a heads up warning. Save your points for Ricky Williams. He's the best player in the game
The cover athlete? You're right. I better.
Randy Moss is the best player in the game
@@MrHurriicaneLP A custom RB can be developed like a Bo Jackson and Ken Easley combo and a custom WR can be developed to be a Night Train Lane/Calvin Johnson hybrid.
Only pick that makes sense is either Bobby Taylor (with +3 tackle, agility, and coverage) or Simeon Rice (no impact gear needed)
@@SuperAlien86 screw it. Get em both🔥
Get Randy Moss. He was arguably the most unstoppable player in the entire game.
Rickey Williams. Dude was a monster in this game.
@@Nortc2247 I had a whole team I used to pick up which used to be Michael Vick, Marshall Faulk, Randy Moss, Ty Law, Ray Lewis, Michael Strahan, and another DL like Richard Seymour or Warren Sapp, talking about this makes me want to steal a player from every division except 1 and build a team that way
I think it's a much stronger play to go full custom and tailor the players to how you want to play on both sides of the ball. That being said, it's all about having fun so if you want to steal an NFL player go for it. Another awesome video, thanks for the Street content!
I think the game is way more fun building up your own guys. Especially because that was the whole point of you picking these 7 guys. I strongly think no stealing of NFL players should take place.
Another stellar video sir! If I may make a request, do a campaign mode of Blitz the League? One of my favorite football games ever. The hard hits, the injuries, the real GRIMEY play style and the individual star players of each team sold it for me real well. Still holds up to this day!
Yoo!!! Loved Blitz the League... and thr story is actually quite entertaining, better than that Longshot shit Madden pumps out
He actually did a play through of blitz the league 2 waaaay back in the day. Like 2014. All in stream format
@@SuperAlien86 lol I agree brother!!
@@samdeabler9979 I’ll check it out! Thank you!! But I like the first one better lol
18:47 And that's why you build up speed, tackle, coverage, and AGILITY for your DBs! A little dmove is okay (8-11).
One thing to keep in mind for game breakers is that any play with 3 down linemen will do while you control the LB going after the QB.
They choose their teams based on the dudes with the highest ratings in this specific game so for example the Chiefs have Dante Hall who is incredibly good in this game over Tony G who is underrated bc he’s a TE and this game doesn’t have a true TE Position.
Yep Hall (WR) and Gonzalez (RB) are a great combo in this game
This has become must watch RUclips!
As far as the all star team goes, Rod Smith was a top 3 WR back to back years at the time, Charles Woodson is Charles Woodson, Gannon was probably the best QB available (though you could argue Plummer, but his best year didn't happen yet), and Priest Holmes I think just had his best year. Junior Seau and Trevor Pryce were also still considered top 5 at their positions at the time. I have no idea why that Chargers lineman was there though, it should've been one of the Chiefs' guys or Tom Nalen. In the street games it's kind of neat that they acknowledge that Rod Smith could play running back and quarterback (pretty much anything).
On the afc west all-star team the raiders sent rod woodson. They both we in the game he played against the raiders but just rod was on the all-star team.
@@josephmalgieri1624 Oh, that was Rod? Both were good so that's fine.
Rich Gannon was an NFL MVP literally like the year before this game came out, he was miles better then Plummer
@@timtresch4848 I honestly don't remember Gannon ever being an MVP. But my argument for Plummer was strictly based on the mobility factor in a game like street. Gannon was definitely the most accomplished passer though, he had the record for consecutive completions I think.
@@Dran_Kito gannon was pretty mobile as well his speed in madden was like 74, not vick but not a statue
NGL this is my favorite series im watching rn. Nostalgic as all hell!!!!
Grab a player! I say that just because back when I played this game I thought it would be fun to grab one player from every division to build my team. It was an interesting way to go about it.I like your style though! Build up your squad but maybe just grab a fun player or two. Like LT or TO or someone of that level.
Anyway, thanks for what you do. You’re a fun watch!
I loveddd this game. My team was the Vegas Dice Clays with the dice as a logo. It was a team made up of comedians Chris rock, Dave chapelle, jerry Seinfeld, John Pinette, Dane cook. I forget the other two lol I put a lot of though into it lol. They looked like the comedians too
Streets taking over. Love it, NBA Street Vol. 2 would be a dope future video!
Could you imagine playing this years rams on this. Aaron Donald, von Miller, Jalen Ramsey, obj, an kupp an Stafford. I know I'm forgetting some, but I think out of the teams as of now they be the toughest to beat on a nfl street style game.
He's not overthrowing them they just don't have any hops . Put they agility up man
I'm so glad so many people enjoy this same game. I thought it was dead.
Definitely vote for steal a player and you should get more comfortable using style dives and throws and building that gamebreaker up. 2 gamebreakers per game would definitely help
I totally agree on making another NFL Street, if they made a NFL Street modern game. That had a my career mode, that you could play online with friends and play 7v7 or something would probably be the best game ever! I would put so much time into that game, and you can make teams. And play against other teams best game ever no lie .
More more more. Yeah! Street 2 as well at some point would be awesome
Happy that you got to climb the ladder and succeed on the rematch. Personally I don’t see a reason to steal a player yet, love seeing the Hurricanes improve
Thanks for the great content man. Ur a real American patriot.
Brees, Tomlinson, David Boston wow what a team
And that’s where 2k comes in this year hopefully!
Cannot get enough of this
This series made me pull out the ps2 and play street 2! Love the nostaglia
Glad that last game was challenging. Thought maybe you would start steamrolling every game.
loving that you are make this series a daily upload
I like the content bro 😎 keep it up 💯
Ricky Williams. Best player in street! Love the gameplay. Miss this game
I would love a timeline video! I honestly love 99% of your content so I'll watch either way!
I loved this game.
The name of this game is speed, don’t really need to steal another player.
Build up your RBs speed and catching. Switch him positions and send him on go routes when needed. And with more speed he can beat anyone to the outside then playing him at safety since he has the most speed.
Best to drive it down the field and rack up your points for the Game Breaker don’t need to score so quickly.
Defending against game breakers when your RB is fast enough just do a stretch run get some yards and go out of bounds.
I am enjoying the series very much so
Saban wasn't fired by the Dolphins, he packed up his clipboard and went to Alabama
Came to the comments to type this
Hey Cane loving the series but are their more plays in the playbook yet? I know you have to unlock some
On the beach, the water pretty much drops you when you try to throw a juke or spin almost every time. Also, I know you're commenting while playing, but holding the ball so long on pass plays is going to catch up to you more and more each division. The sandlot style yields big plays sometimes, but it also pays to hit the quick reads.
Great video as always...also reminder this is street football, no penalties...tackle the receivers some times before the pass gets there lol
I Think You Should Do Blitz The League Next
I agree!
I am really enjoying your NFL Street videos. Question, if you somehow get ahold of the rest of the NBA Street games, or even the old FIFA Street games, will you do videos for them?
I love this! I just finished my playthrough of this not to long ago. This is making me wanna go at it again!
Love the grind!
If you're looking for some arcade football game why not to gry Mutant Football League? It also has franchise (dynasty) mode, a lot of episodes can be done :)
Aye yo! Listen. Use PA pitch pass on every 2pt conv.
Use lock down on every defense play, and user LB to rush QB.
Update Tackling for everyone
Love this series!! Let's GOOO!!
Love this series
Since layups were mentioned and NBA street has been brought up while older games are being revisited iirc NBA 2k13 (might have been earlier) had a coach mode you could use in franchise. Based on the other 2k videos a mode like that probably would have made the experience more enjoyable.
Coach mode allowed subs to be made, time outs to be called and offensive / defensive themes to be selected as well as offensive plays to be called. Pretty sure that the camera could be adjusted at any time too. Was pretty interesting mode and might be a decent fit to pair with street since it's a different style and has the franchise / coach mode to experiment with.
You should steal a player! LT or TO would be sick
I know we are trying to build up the custom players, but why not steal a player from another squad so that you can use more dev points on the players you really need long term
Facts bro
Randy Moss is a must steal, he's so broken!!
As a kid I always did steal a player and took David Boston first thing. His run power is really high and he makes a good RB
Yesssssirrrrrr anotha one love the series
more style dives!
For a QB Club video you should a skills challenge between QBs from all your old series
You gotta show the behind the scenes clips from this game. I remember them being really early 2000s corny. Can’t remember if it’s on disc or a separate disc
You should try out Blitz: the League 1 & 2 if you haven't.
I've played 2, but I'd be willing to replay the story.
You should grind for dev points and keep improving the team!
Would love to watch you check out NBA Street Vol 2 or the NHL Hitz series!!!
would love to see you, bengal and friends play a few rounds of gridiron on steam!!!
Please get Randy Moss for your next episode!
well done love this content
I think the biggest reason we don’t see NFL Blitz/Street style games anymore has been the studies of concussions and CTE in pro sports, especially football. It caused the league to have a much cleaner aesthetic that focused way less on hard-nosed roughneck hard hitting football to a QB protected pass happy league. They got out of the arcady comically violent games seemingly overnight. Just look at the new XFL compared to the original as well, zero focus on hard hits and toughness. EA is also a shell of its former self, but there’s no way, with how much bigger the NFL is now compared to back in 2004, that they should only have one game on the market. People consume football year round and people would buy a new NFL Street like crazy.
ALSO: I feel like LT fumbled more times in this game alone than in his entire career XDDDD
I think you need to focus on unlocking as many plays as possible to keep offense interesting to watch.
You gotta do a Blitz the League and Blitz the League 2 series
yay more street
LT must've been busy with work...
I play this game an upsetting amount. unsolicited tips: weight and height are negligible more often than not. most important stats in order are speed, tackling, agility, carrying. the ai sucks at covering dual threat qbs but you can tell when it's rubber banding, here's how: if you run a run play and go to the strong side and your good blocker gets decked on the first play, you know that you won't be able to successfully run without some jank. If you call posts or any other 3 wideout play and swap your qb and rb you can audible to a qb sneak and reliably suss out whether or not the D is playing zone and run to the appropriate side. dl/ol require a lot of development points if you make them realistic (hella big, hella tall). a tall qb gets his passes batted down at the line less often. never do the legendary challenge in the afc north for 6 pitches. complete rng. Playing good defense is harder than playing good offense. the ai will make you fumble if your carrying stat is less than 15. 15 is the soft cap for all stats so if you want to juke on sand or jump high to catch balls that agility stat's gotta be at least at 15. 20 speed trivializes most teams so get your main ball carrier there as soon as possible. it's cheaper to use impact gear to boost stats to 20 than to get the raw development points. and also the challenges for that are easier. so do AFC north next and do those +3 impact gear challenges. get that tackle stat up on almost everybody. choose one player to put no stats into or to make a D-moves/blocking character since all they will do is run center or nose tackle. I could say so so much more. Thanks for playing and streaming my comfort game
i think 2k is actually planning on making a arcade style game
Get all the plays
You gotta user catch thos deep passes the computer always short arms them
From what i was reading a few months ago, i don't know how true it is though, but i was reading that EA has an exlusive contract with the nfl and there the only ones that can make football games these days
Algorithm click! Nice series!
6:46 It's not there isn't any demand. It's that EA don't have to. MUT makes them literally millions every year. That's why Madden has regressed so far over the years. EA doesn't have to try or innovate. Just copy and paste the same game every year. Change the rosters and UI and rake in the dough.
Day 9 of asking for the practice squad rebuild revamped
you should go to the afc north
I would make sure all of you guys have at least like 10-11 rating in EVERYTHING except passing its so cheap to do and every once and again something crazy happens then and your Dline man actually can intercept a pass and get a decent return. everyone needs at least some Speed, strength, agility, blocking, tackling, coverage, dmoves catching, carrying, run power minimum 10, then for your RB or any other guy who might have a fake pass in the playbook I would give them at least like a 12 for passing again because its cheap but its something that can give you a quick advantage
14:30 man turned into $$ manziel
More Please
Use Gamebreaker on offense I don’t believe you’ve done that yet or at least I don’t remember it I’d love to see you Moss someone or just run over a whole team
game was probably made the year holmes got liek 27 TDs so thats why they picked him
Chargers Drew 🤯
Rod Woodson, not Charles lol!
Surprise you haven't done any impact challenges or to steal a player, like a randy moss
When asking how they were choosing there teams in the all star game because they chose priest holmes over LT. At that point one could argue Holmes was better than LT his numbers were better he was more diverse in his issues and even had a period were he had more TDs than LT
Steal Calvin Johnson or Michael Vick. Never seen those guys on your channel
Wha? Calvin Johnson isn't even in this game. Randy Moss might be worth if you user him on defense, but don't just put your hopes on the CPU to have him cover anyone.
Definitely replace Sulley
There isnt less demand for Football games. EA holds likeness rights, so you cant make a Football game with an NFL roster.
steal a QB id love to see it or emmit smith
How do you feel about the Harbaugh to Minnesota rumors!?
Yes please!
@@MrHurriicaneLP what about Kevin O’Conell? Hahah
@@danysheply527 I think they really need an OC that will stick around longer than a year. They need more consistency on offense they have a ton of weapons. Need to fix the interior of the o line but there’s a solid base to work with. The d can be improved if they hit some solid picks in the draft IMO.
It's goofy the NFL can air on Nickelodeon but doesn't have a game like this to cater to a younger demographic
i don't think most parents want their kids playing a over the top violent football game played in the streets of run down ghettos across the country in fields full of drug dealers, junkies, hookers, drugs discorded needles etc
You should Steal Brian Urlacher or Brett Favre. Those players would make your team unstoppable
Steal TO!!!
You have to stop using jukes and spins so much. Those really aren't effective especially against the all star teams. Using X to stiff arm and lower the shoulder will get you more yards or broken tackles then using O will.
