I'm Bronze 2 (yeah, I suck) and I put a pink ward in the dragon pit (behind the drake) 6 minutes in and it never got stomped until 35min when the game ended. They could never do drake without my team knowing, but their jungler didn't seem to be interested in doing drake, anyway. And that right there is another Bronze and Silver thing.

Hell yeah, Jared, chem buddy! Specific heat is also the same reason why you can always touch aluminum foil directly out of the oven without being burned. Even though the temperature of that foil is actually 500 degrees, it takes less actual heat energy to raise the aluminum foil's temperature. So when it transfers that heat energy to your fingers, it only heats them up by a few degrees.

if you don't have oven mits it's feasible to stack like 5 paper napkins and use it to pick up something that's dry and hot.
for small objects (a hot bowl), you are fine with wet hands for maybe a half second more than if you had dry hand.
especially if you use a wet rag to get shit. I learned the hard way at one of my shitty line cook jobs.

Making a spaceship out of water sounds pretty cool, but if your objective is just to slow heat transfer, then the tiles they put on the bottom of shuttles do just that.
Fun fact: "Wonder Bread" burnt in the absence of oxygen also slows heat transfer substantially. Also, there's this thing called Aerogel you can buy.

The space ship of h20 was actually proposed before. Because of solar radiations we'd need a large buffer or protective layer to travel through space. Water encapsulated craft have long been proposed and designed to counter this. While not ahead of his time or encouraging it for the same reasons QT is still a fkn genius.
