I just got my first penpal yesterday and she agreed to to let me send the first letter. Since she told me I've been researching how to mail my letter + extras to penpals, and also ideas for what extras to add and what to write. I find your video very helpful for me-especially the idea about photocard extras (although now I probably can't sleep tonight cause I'm so hyped to write the letter right now and send it to her to spoil her already)

Katharina Cobain hmmm I would say that english is a lot easier than german and its easier to express / describe something in english as well ✨ writing in english to my german penpals is also a very nice way of improving my English skills

These penpals are boss. Their lettering style was so pretty and their handwriting was goalllsss. They also made everything look 1000000 dollars. Love the music immediately recognised it was Fake Love.

Would they maybe allow you to write to friends and people in your area that you already know?
Cass Gray well I do that and they don’t have a problem with it, but I only send to my close friends because the area we live in is kind of dangerous. My parents would let me send to others if they are sibilants of mine but in a different country/state. They might also let me find pen pals online but I won’t look for them online because you know, identity theft, cat fishing and other stuff.
Mr. wiNdSHieLD wIpER GuY Ah, I totally understand your concern for giving out your information online - it is very good to be cautious about such things! - but may I suggest that you chat with potential-penpals online for awhile to get to know them better, and then see if you feel comfortable choosing them as a pen pal? I’m new to pen-paling as well, but I know some people choose friends on social media or chat with others they find on penpal sites. My new penpal is a friend I met online that I started emailing back and forth with for months - we only recently decided to formally correspond :-) it’s good to err on the safe side, but it’s less scary when you get to know someone. Plus, I do believe many penpal sites have a safety-net of sorts where any suspicious character can be reported.

I understand what you’re saying, I was thinking recently about chatting with someone after a long discussion with friends who experienced pen-paling, they told me to start off by talking to someone who can actually get you pen pals, for example those accounts on Instagram that post about you, and tell their followers that you would like to have a pen pal. I’m planning on doing it soon. I discussed with friends/family members I trust about it even though I didn’t really want to, but It was better to do so because I learned some very useful information~ by the way, you seem like a nice person 😊, I would like talking to you, we might be able to pen-pal! It may be weird to just say this and we don’t even know each other, but trust me, I’m being completely honest with you and I’m not going to use your information for something bad. If you’re also interested in talking to me, can you please tell me what your Instagram is? I really want to try something new and interesting :-))) (by the way I apologise for my English, it’s not my native language!)

You can find some thru insta and amino. There’s also a pen pal site just wear up “pen pal” and you can adjust the type of ppl you want to be pals with (ya know, no males, no adults, etc.)

If i make pen pan ill use the small stickers i never used and try find aesthetic stuff the only real washi tape i have is dogs on but the “fake kinda ish?” Is glitter colors but they dont stick very good.
