I love this rendition it's just beautiful. I have never seen anyone who plays this instrument play it with the passion in their eyes. My mother plays whenever she finds the time, this reminded me of her. I tried my hand at it but I just wasn't cut out for it I guess 😅

@@AnsonLim i ever tried to play this instrument at my grandma funeral in Pontianak, Indonesia. Since my grand father was a chinese flute player. So his band played at her funeral. The sounds that Yangqin made is just other worldly. Didnt forget to mention the level of accuracy of the hit, the tempo and remembering the notes. Its like singing through instrument. Wah!!! it needs special kind of mind set to play this instrument. I know how to play drum. It makes me amaze about the level of sophistication, just to play Yangqin.
@@KLP36912 I'm really sorry for the lost... But yes, it requires a really high level of accuracy to play the Yangqin. Funny story, I actually started playing Chinese drums before learning the Yangqin :)
