What camera and lens do you record with?
I use a Nikon D5500 with a 40mm macro lens. I use 2 soft boxes and a ring light for lighting.
What eye primer do you use?
I always use a concealer set with a translucent powder.

That iridescent shade you threw on top is actually a color changing shade. It makes all of the shades something slightly different. It’s pretty cool

I agree with your comments on the layout. It’s like a child’s slot in toy. Nice colours but Juvia’s Place’s Masquerade has them - a lot cheaper! But, as usual, you’ve *made* it work 👏🏼 It’s far from “not your best work”...you’re brilliant and inspiring!

Angela, you look beautiful! The look was eye-catching and very pretty. When I attempt to replicate this, I doubt I shall use ‘Leo’ against my brown eyes. It did however compliment your blue shade very well. Thoroughly enjoyed your honesty and that you kept going and allowed us to hear your doubts. I agree with everything you said but I LOVE my Kaleidoscope palette! But because it is loaded with shimmers, it acts as sort of my "accent" palette and I use my other more "neutral" palettes (Naked2 Basic, Morphe 35N/35T, etc) for blending. I especially love Lime Time and Brixton - I created (and since recreated) a GORGEOUS halo using Lime Time with just a bit of Brixton on top as the middle of the halo.. the most unique lime green/teal duochrome shade.. with deep purple matte halo!

Although you struggled with it a bit but you pulled it together came out pretty sucks they didn't put a few more matts .. I have hooded eye's so really can't use all the shimmers like you said a really pretty matt blue would've been perfect..💖💖💖

That's a beautiful look. I agree, the palette isn't worth it, but you really pulled a nice look out of it.
You know, I had the same thoughts and feelings when I first saw this palette. The colorful one is pretty but really confusing (while I’m not a makeup artist, I am an artist so I feel like I’m pretty good with colors) and the neutral one just bores me on its own. I do think it was a good idea to release them both so you could use them together like you did, but maybe put them all in the same palette? Or maybe they thought everyone would already have the neutral shades? I don’t know; the look of the bright palette is off-putting to me but I have seen people do really gorgeous things with it, including you! That would have been a frustrating challenge for me too, but you made it look wonderful, truly! I don’t think I’ll pick this palette up as I have a LOT of bright, shimmery colors (and this may have been limited edition) but your tutorial is inspiring me to dig those bright palettes out and create something like you did! Thanks for persevering through the confusion and frustration, you really ended up with a GORGEOUS look!!! ✨😍💚💙💜😍✨

I think the look is great! I actually just purchased the UD Kristen pallette. I got it for $19 because Ulta gad "expired" the set. I love the set, but, I do mix it with other sets that have more matte colors. I also have very hooded eyes! Thanks for the tutorial!

It came out beautiful on you but I'm so glad you struggled with it (sorry!). The reason is because I had that very problem this morning and it's great to know I'm not alone. I put too much raspberry pink shadow on my brush and had a heck of a time blending it out so that I didn't look totally ridiculous. But, thanks to your videos I have been trained to blend the holy crap out of my eye shadows to get a nicer look and it really saved me today! I feel so much better knowing that even a professional can make the occasional boo boo with her makeup. I don't know why I haven't subscribed before but I corrected that error tonight.
