I am using Alcantara material for this demonstration.
It is necessary the use of wrapping techniques to avoid a possible unsticking.
It also applies for leather or vinyl.
The plastic piece has three levels that will be recovered. The lowest level is the circle in the center. As we can see I have started from this portion which should be thoroughly glued down. Once it is ready the second level is the surrounding narrow portion which should be glued down with no stretching of material at all. After reaching the top level I could make some stretching of material in any direction if necessary.
The lower portions will not be prone to unsticking because they were glued down without tensioning of Alcantara material. The other tip you can see in the video is how to get an even edge and corners.
I hope you find these tips useful!

It's always educational to see how you approach challenges like this.
I've never seen any body as good as you are. You blow my mine. Mark Tennessee
He is truly a master at his craft
Thank you for your videos.
You are really teaching us allot Caesar.
Greetings from Greece.
Cesar thank you for these videos they extreamly useful. I have been restoring cars for 20 years but have always sent my upholstery work out. Well now I’m learning to do this in my shop. I will buy your courses. It would be most useful to see a video outlining the tools you use. Glues, scissors, pressing devices sewing machine etc. I want to make sure I everything in my shop I need.
So much information I can use in my furniture upholstering business.
Smart work! I kept wondering though, what is that piece for? A window crank?
There are two pieces close to the rear windshield of a Ford truck cardboard headliner. One is on the left and the other in the right side. The seat belts are fastened with bolts through the circular holes in the center.

Super pomału dokładnie. Pozdrawiam
Mast bhai
What glue did you use? Thanks
Contact cement. What is not shown in the videos is the wait times between each application of glue to each area, about ten minutes for the glue to get cured on each side. This is most likely a glue such as Weldwood contact adhesive or Landau top and trim adhesive.
I am located in Mexico and trademarks are different in each country. But, most of these solvent based yellow glues are similar everywhere. This glue is the same used to stick formica as shown in the video about Upholstery Glues:

Thanks!@@Cechaflo
neat
👍👍👍
Я не понял для чего разметка🤔. Деталь не сложная.
The video is educational. Perhaps the marking is useful as a guide for a beginner in this craft.
Непонятно, зачем делать эту деталь поэтапно, тем самым так усложнять приклейку, когда можно было сформовать все в один заход
Потому что наиритом клеит и о других клеях не слышали походу
This video is educational and is done at a slow pace and stages to understand the process. I would have liked to do it at one go, but the material is too hard. To avoid a future unsticking I started out gluing down the lower central parts until reaching the top surface.
