The style point is also BS because I moved to Europe a year ago and most people in my town dress in like hiking clothes lol. I used to put in effort into my outfits but since coming here I've been dressing for comfort and weather. (edit) also all the food stuff they're acting superior about we have it as well. It just depends on the supermarket. Also they have so much ready made frozen food or food mixes, especially of American foods.
I feel like the style thing only counts for wealthy Europeans and they just pretend that everyone dressed like them lmao. From what I've seen, normal everyday people don't get dressed up like that for the grocery store. (Funny that they're the ones that say Americans are in a bubble)
@Megan-xg4ui it seems like it because I'm not exaggerating when I say I haven't seen a single person dressing like that casually and the only people I've seen serving looks around here are immigrants, especially east Asians.
I don’t even see British people pulling fits like that.. other than those guys that have a bowl cut n wear Northface head to toe. America is very diverse and we have so many different fashion styles. I work at target and one of my favorite things is to see everyone’s aesthetic and outfits
As someone that has lived many years outside the us i think theres one thing that they dont understand. MANY and i mean MAAAAANYYYYYYY universities dont have housing within the school grounds so you dress up like its a normal day to go to school because your are literally going out. But in the us if you are waking up and walking to the next building that happens to be connected to your dorm you will most likely stay in your pjs. And thats why thats pretty much college attire all ove the us, most ppl leave home over there and live at the schools.
Mexican here, I understand the points of your video... its just cultural differences that can shock foreigners. Your lifestyle is really fast compared to other countries. Also, don't want to be mean but there's a bad stereotype of Americans feeling like the center of the world, or the most powerful country. I think its really dumb to compare a country to a whole continent. Its like saying latinos are only Mexicans, not acknowledging other countries or cultures.

We are not thinking about Americans, Americans force feed themselves to everyone. So changing that other way around is literally a simplified americacentrized perspective, because our media doesn’t even reach you, and it is very common to speak english and other languages in Europe, but how would you even hear about european things in america if they arent precisely published in english? And also you are proving your point against the fact you don’t care or see outside america wrong by actually saying that you are not interested. Like half of you is saying that you are interested in something from outside america, next you say you don’t know nothing about us because you don’t care, and we are just obsessed, because we do pay attention what happens there? So crazy, all this because of nothing?
Also I didn’t mean we don’t care about you at all, just not silly stuff like what food your grocery stores have or whether or not y’all lean on stuff. Like we arent studying your day to day life the same way I’ve seen some people on tik tok study ours. Also I absolutely love learning and watching other cultures and places and would love to travel outside the US. Literally one of my favorite Netflix shows is Swedish.
