In this episode of ‘Tikehau Sphere’, our Deputy CEO Thomas Friedberger spoke to Adam Posen, President of the Peterson Institute for International Economics, the world’s leading independent think tank on economics and globalisation. Adam gave his take on the Fed’s approach to mitigating inflation and what this might imply for future action on interest rates and policy tightening. He shared his views on inequality in the US and the likely socio-economic consequences for the US and the world. Adam also commented on US attitudes’ to energy transition and the extent to which these differ to prevailing views in Europe.
