It’s refreshing to see a channel where they respect the n54 like u. I own 335is dct with n54t it’s been great car 10 years plus owner ship. Lot of hate from new fellas toward n54. They can suck it
The hybrid twins can be a pain and ive already replaced the chras once due to failure 😄, However im in New Zealand, our cars are RHD which limits options for affordable single turbo swaps, im still eager to do it though, sounds so much better and less headaches
I usually don’t care how good a inlet design is it’s still sketchy. For me now it’s Single turbo or stock inlets. I would start molding a carbon stock one because I’ll do it pull it off. I might even just start off a resin filled inlet. Crack open the inlet. And start wrapping resin and strands of composite and I’ll make it extra strength

Guys, i just got my 335i and I am trying to make it reliable before moding it. Could you recomend more basic stuff like oil, coils, spark plugs maybe upgraded thermostat stuff lile that?? This is my first bmw and turbo car and I know i might sound stupid to most of you. Thank you for making videos for this platform that seems yt forgot.
5” minimum, but if you have the extra money get 7.5 or 1k, well worth the money. Only downside is it takes a little more time for the air to move through the inter cooler but after driving it for a month you won’t notice it anymore

I don't think you could go wrong with either. I think I'd do a DCT next to be honest. they just aren't as strong in the E chassis as the 8hp.
