How To Factory Reset Samsung Galaxy Note 10 - Hard Reset

There's an option to make your phone automatically factory reset if you press the password wrong 15 times but you'll need to do that before forgetting your password. Still useful for when you forget your samsung account password or when you plan ahead/know you will likely forget your password in the future in ways that would be more beneficial to wipe your phone

Doesn’t work if you have forgotten your pin. Once you reboot it says that you have done an unauthorized factory reset and must enter your pin. So... wiped all of the data for nothing. Back to square one.

I believe even if a stolen phone gets factory reset the IMEI will always remain the same. So the phone company and police will usually have a way to track that. Hope that helps.

Tried it on my note 10 plus also with the same results. No Android and no Android recovery menu. The phone only turns back on again. I think this might only work on note ten phones. NOT note then plus phones.

this is the old method for android 11 below, above android 11 you must connect the phone to the pc with your charger cable (type C to type C) let the phone on before do that, press power button+vol down, once the power off press power button + vol up untill samsung logo powered by knox appear then release power button and hold vol up button till recoveey menu appear
