My parents couldn’t afford a lot so they found ways to turn other peoples junk into treasures. It’s because of that, that I’m creative. I find great pride in making my own stuff.
Girl you are good!! I love that you’re not afraid to try any crafting techniques. Jenny you are so patient, that’s probably why everything you create turns out fabulous. 🤍🤍🤍
I really like this but I have a larger metal wreath Id like to try it on so Ill guesstimate the need for 4 bags of pumpkins - thanks for the great video and inspiration.
lol Where I live we get insanely cold temperatures in winter. So I don’t tend to be in a rush to get closer to it. But I get ya, I also really love me some fall vibes
the very first craft in the video: your pumpkin wreath... Looks way better than the pottery barn one! And I love what you did with the baby blue spray painted pumpkins with the stone spray on the top 💙
Loved your video! My favorite was the 🎃 wreath using the mini leather pumpkins from The Dollar Tree. Wonderful job! 👏 All of your Pottery Barn dupes were spot on! 👍 I'm a new subscriber as of today as I just happened upon your channel. Hi from NL 🇨🇦!
Thanks! That's awesome. I've never been to the coast but I hear that NL is particularly beautiful. My niece-in-law is from there. The first time we met she made me kiss a fish after taking a shot of Screech. lol That was fun. Thank you for subscribing. Can't wait to DIY together, eh! 🍁
Hello from the UK 🇬🇧 i love your ideas! Very high end looking and very classy ❤ thank you for sharing..new subscriber here❤. Best wishes from Caroline x
Excellent copy, only I wonder if there’s an easy way to take the shine off the faux leather pumpkins. You can mix cornstarch with nail polish to make it matte, so maybe something like that could work. Or you could double down on the shiny and do a light sprinkle of glitter.
Absolutely you could. In fact, I believe I used those in my last thrift flip video to makeover a giant vase. They also work well but they would give you a bit of a different look. The soil spreads and blends whereas I found the coffee grinds give more of a flecked look. But yes, definitely an option if you want to avoid soil. Thanks for sharing the great idea! 🙂
For the video I just hooked it onto a command hook and it stayed. But if I were to hang it on the front door (there's a window) I would hang it with some thick ribbon or you could attach a D-ring or eye hook to the back to hook it on. Hope that helps!
I saw this video for the 1st time 3 days ago. The nx day I went into our salvation army to hunt for some treasures. And their was a wreath just like this one you made. The pumpkins used in that wreath were covered in that orange velour material and the wreath was covered in burlap instead of the twine. It was very light weight and was nice enough. I think yours looked nicer. A few minutes later I saw it in a lady's basket. I was happy to see it was gonna have a new home.😊
I love recreating overpriced stuff! I wanted to tell you to watch the video with the closed captioning on; it’s not one of the best programs you’re using. Every time you mentioned a price, they had it in the hundreds. Just wanted to let you know because anyone hard of hearing, or seniors, would think it cost double Pottery Barns price to make your own.

Love this! So glad that you get a sense of accomplishment with your successful DIYs. Got to love generational DIYing
Really enjoyed the fact you show us a little snip of steps and not the whole process. Very creative and I enjoyed the video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really love the pumpkin wreath. I think it'd look very high end if the stems were painted gold!
That’s a great idea!
So happy I found your channel. Not only are the dupes great and look high end, you’re Canadian!! So the items you use I can actually find!!
Yay! Thank you! 🇨🇦

I love the wreath with the pumpkins

Thanks for the tip!
i would use coffee grounds
Absolutely you could. In fact, I believe I used those in my last thrift flip video to makeover a giant vase. They also work well but they would give you a bit of a different look. How do you hang the pumpkin wreath?
For the video I just hooked it onto a command hook and it stayed. But if I were to hang it on the front door (there's a window) I would hang it with some thick ribbon or you could attach a D-ring or eye hook to the back to hook it on. Hope that helps!

Love this! Thanks for sharing
I say burlap ribbon or burlap fabric to cover not wrap the foam of the punkin wreath. Way less time and wrist pain for us old folks
Absolutely! Definitely do what works best for you. Thanks for the idea

Oh dear! I honestly will have to look into it. Not sure why that would be happening. Thanks for letting me know. Cheers!
