Not so. I posted that comment because I'm pissed with any company that becomes a sellout with planned obsolescence that cost consumers like me lots of money.
Same with the new Soundlink MAX!? Why???? I love my flex watching movies in bed and listening to PROPER STEREO music. How music should be heard. I don't want "simultion" of stereo sounds. Get it right @BOSE ! Stop ripping off you loyal fans
I was always a faithful fan of Bose and think back with tears having to sell my Acoustimas for financial reasons years ago. Recently i tried out 2 soundbars only to be very disappointed that without the base module the sound was very disappointing. I kept the Bose 500 (about a year old) but set ups are fiddley and Alexa has a mind of her own. If setting up is anything to go by I give up on Bose. I still have a Companion 5 and delighted with it. Next system on the cards is the Naim, also purely because Bose seems to be focussed on the "younger" market so anything I would like (Wave, Accoustimas) are discontinued. Bose would do well if they went savvy about what other generations want. Proof is out there as many other writers and RUclipsrs regularly talk about the absence of the good 'ol stuff. Perhaps you can talk about that.
I had a Bose Cinemate 15 that died a few weeks ago. Ended up getting a JBL Bar 9.1 to replace it as it on sale at JBL, plus 15% off Rakuten. Long story short, the JBL sounds way better than the Bose it replaced it with. Bose has seen better days.
You "discovered" (more like been sponsored by Bose) this speaker almost 5 years after its release? I owned one and while I did like the speaker at the time, the speaker is outdated in 2024. You're paying $400 for a speaker that still has bluetooth 4.2 on it (we're at 5.3 as of May, 2024.) Also, the speaker is playing in mono which is a deal breaker for a lot of people. For $400, you can do so much better than this speaker.
Everything I have purchased that is Bose over the last 10 years has broken and has been junk. Never again. From Bluetooth headphones to a few surround sound systems to Bluetooth speakers. ALL have malfunctioned and or broken and or never worked correctly from day one. No exaggeration. Bose is not what they used to be
Sonos Move 2 all the way! Only thing its missing is google assistant but has Alexa. One other thing is its heavier but who cares its sounds a million times better!
This speaker was released in September 2019, is almost 5 years old. Not sure if “discovery” applies here
discovered = "has been paid to say"

This forbes editor has never heard of Sonos
Sonos doesn't have Alexa and Google built in
Their software is a joke. Went back to Bose after trying Sonos.
@@shawn4357 They do have Alexa just not Google, some sort of argument the two got into.
Bulky junk sonos
Does it takes an eternity to pair both speakers?
This product is old and overdue for a refresh.
Does not pair for a stereo sound. Which for me is a crucial feature

@@xavierleroux7703 The Flex is mono unless you pair it with another Flex.

Bose home potable is a regression in sound quality
This ironically is the worst speaker I have ever used. Mine has been repaired 4 times by Bose and just broke again the other day
I can not believe this speaker use old micro usb charging cable 😢
5 years old, $399, and not even close to the best.

Why is Forbes even getting into tech space like this lol
$399
This speaker battery dies quickly. This speaker needs a newer version.
Lol “discovered” 🙄
That is not a good speaker and this feels like an ad.

Takes an agonizing long time to pare-up!
This guy was paid by Bose
Real life it don't worth the way it should
Let's see a review after 1 year.
