It's crazy to me the Flex inline 6.5" has greater cut depth than this.Looks torquey and perfect for many folks, though.
How much more 1/16 of an inch?? This isnt meant for cutting 4x4 beams its traditionally a trim saw

Certainly. I’ll note I’m using the 4Ah battery here. It goes a little slower ripping through that knot with the 2.5Ah battery but still performs well

yeah. Sooo much better, quieter with a quality replacement blade.. not a makita blade.
Makita blades are actually some of the best. I’d rate them higher than Diablo.
