There was definitely a two or three week option, which we have added to our “ultimate leisure” trip list - such an amazing way to de stress, relax, and learn Egyptian history 😀
Sorry for the late reply - the interwebz on these islands is spotty (we've started our south pacific island hopping). And to answer your question, we're super bummed that we haven't seen a croc in the wild ANYWHERE on our world trip. We thought we'd see some on our safaris (nope) or maybe the Nile (nope), then we thought for sure in Australia (nope). Bottom line, we don't think crocodiles are real. 😂
Love this video! We’re going to Egypt end of February and plan on cruising the Nile on a Dahabiya. Did you go on The Orient? Also, do you think February will be too cold to sail the Nile?
We were on the Loulia, but I think the Orient might be their sister boat? The company was Djed Egypt Travel. We went in March and it was chilly in the morning and evening, we wore light jackets, but during the day we were in T-shirts. February might be just a tad cold, but they’ll keep you warm with hot coffee and tea. It was one of our more memorable trips in Africa, completely magical experience. Bring some books, some days are low key, and if you can, spring for the longer trip, ours was only a few days and we wished it was longer 😁
Bottom Line Up Front loved your dahabiya video. It looks similar to halong bay We did 7 years ago. I thought it was magical. If you could post at the end of each video which businesses you used, it helps others immensely as well as the business! Thanks
Millie Sogani good point Millie, I think we’ll start putting all of the details of the businesses in the video description (as long as we thought they were exceptional)
Some shots are so cinematic, visual poetry 🙏😍
Thank you!! We try to capture the beauty of the world the best we can 🤗
I found this video, showed my husband and booked the next day.
Wow, you guys had a fantastic trip. Very cool looking at you guys going up and down the Nile.
Great video so calming and brief.. visiting Egypt in couple of months can’t wait! Thanks for the video
What a great little video. I'm going to have to add this to my bucket list.
It was a cool experience - next time we’ll go for the longest option they have 👌
That is just so cute. Do you remember how long the longest option is that they have? I could cruise that ship for ever.

Glad I could help!

I love it! & thank you
Check our more recent video on the Ha Long Bay cruise, very similar vibes and experience, equally as magical
How much it cost person per night
This was almost a year ago, so you’ll just have to check their website ✌️
you went from Aswan to Luxor?
That’s right! There are lots of different options for the cruises, next time we’ll do something a bit longer! ✌️
