WOW.....the detail in that little character you painted..was IMMENSE. I know it's a rather personal thing but....is any of your other artwork shown on YT anywhere? The beauty of art...its literally different for everyone and can say a whollllle lot about a person...specially if the viewer has the right eyes and the right mind...to perceive and interpret work as the artist/creator intended
Oh! I'd love to know more of your thoughts on why you don't like Audrey Horne. It's been a while since i watched Twin Peaks but i remember her being a very smart and resourceful young girl? Perhaps i should watch it again with fresh eyes. I don't think the show could have a character i dislike more than James, simply for the crime of being boring (i just didn't care enough about his character to enjoy an entire episode dedicated to him). Hawk is an absolute treasure
If it's any consolation, and I'm sure it's not, I got my first grey hair at 16. And I feel substantially older than I am (going to be 50 in a bit under six months), but that's down to my various health issues.
Again, congratulations on the fungi art exhibit and the poetry gig. Even though your friends and family might not be able to show up, I'm sure they are still proud of you of your accomplishments.
I get nervous meeting new people in real life, so I completely understand about you being nervous about your friends not being there, but you're still gonna do great regardless

I also really enjoy these rambling videos. You don't need to apologise about speaking about what worries/concerns you. From what I've seen from the community, no one is going to condemn you for it. I know what it's like with struggling with anxiety, I would have the same thoughts if my artwork was on public display. Congratulations about the fungi art and poetry gig, you so deserve both.

The whole thing with being disappointed with friends and family not showing up to your events reminds me of Spider-man 2 that I recently watched with MJ being disappointed with Peter not showing up to her play. I forgot how great and poignant that film was and just how terrible Disney Marvel has always been.
Worrying about no one showing up is normal, it would be strange not to but at the end of the day whether everyone or no one shows up a week or two later something else will come up and these feelings will pass. A weekend always brings something else to push out unsure feelings.
I am used to no one being here for me so I can't relate to this lol
