You left out the bit where my Dad took out a Jerry panzer with the gun on his Stuart tank.
The artillery deployed in several boxes 425, 426&520 batteries were given their last orders... 'Fight to the last round'. They were wiped out.
War is hell. I have my Dads diaries which detail the actual battle of Knightsbridge. He was 1 of 6 survivors of his regiment. War is fun !

Well, hopefully your Dad would appreciate the absolute PASTING the Germans took in this game! Thanks for the great comment!

I recall dear old Dad, god bless him, saying that the Battle of the Knightsbridge box was referred to by his old comrades association as 'Custers last stand'. Hot, bloody, shrapnel, bullets, dust, and the barrels of the artillery glowed red after the paint burned from them.
The defeat in Tobruk was the easy bit.....being marched away in a comnn of prisoners across Libya....in June... without water was much more difficult to survive, especially as anybody who could not continue and fell by the wayside was given a quick burst of a machine pistol to the head.

Geography dictated that a German flanking attack would come on the British left flank every time, as that was the open flank. The other flank was protected by the sea.

Hard to beat hot dice. Those green dice are evil.

Agree 100%. Not only were Mark's dice great, but even more so ... mine were just terrible. Still a fun game, though!
