Thank you!
thank you ms. jennifer
Thank you
So informative. Thank you for such a value packed video.
I've pretty much just bought 4 wk t bills
yep still sticking with 3 mo or shorter duration.
T-bill Ladder !
My signature as I've gotten older.
Thankful for another very informative show from Mrs. Jennifer. Any comments on 5 Yr TIPS for next week??
I hold a FHLB . It pays 6% and is uncallable for 6 months ..August 8th..thereafter it can be called anytime..would be nice the call is delayed for another 6 months!
Yeah, I'm watching for that CPI number on Wednesday. If it were to drop, that may damage the yields on the 30 and 20 yr bond reopenings in the following days.
I have 4 wk, 8 wk and 13 wk T bills. Short term so if I need cash, I have it.
That chart looks like my cardiograph
Be interesting to see how far down May's jobs number will be revised. That the revision has (in the last 2 yrs) batted almost 1k downward, is highly out of the ordinary (but very telling)! 😯
That 272,000 will be revised downward. I spent 22K on treas last week(before Friday) because I kinda panicked.
I bought treasuries also, but I didn't panick!
@@freeroamer9146 what maturities? mine wer 4 and 5 yr or there about.
does anyone know of a bond fund that bought a bunch of 10 years when they were 5%?
Mixed signals means someone’s fudging the numbers, my surprised face -> 😐
How come nobody buys CP maturity date 12/01/2114 bonds that giving out 5.59?
Hi Mrs. Jennifer, I know that you are very busy but do you have any comments on the 5 Yr TIPS that was announced today? Thanks for the valuable work that you do and do have a great today!
Stay tuned for today's Treasury update video! Best - Caitlin
If you buy treasuries at Treasury Direct, how do you pay for them if all your funds are with charles schwab..e.g.?
Just buy them through Charles Schwab. Much easier to sell them if you have to.
At Treasury Direct link an account from where you can transfer funds (like Schwab) then transfer what you need to buy what you're interested in.
Anyone buying the 5-year TIPs auction next week? What will be the rate?
No one knows the rate before an auction
I have a question, I bought 3 months treasury notes instead of treasury zeros at 5.38% by mistake, what is the difference between the two and it seems like I paid a fee. I don't understand how you get paid with treasury notes.
Notes pay a fixed rate of interest every six months until they mature. Since the one you bought on the secondary market matures in 3 months, you will only get one interest payment, at the time the note matures.
Owned very limited TLT and when yield for 10-year yield drops, sell covered calls one month or less for them to generate extra income. If they are called away, I'm ok.
