I got that same gold lv2 its a keeper.. just got my dls..and if i had to get rid of 1 it would be the dls.. That being said i really like my dls..but not as good as my m3+. But imma give the lurker gun a season b4 i decide to sell
Excellent.. thanks guys I agree with Doug about the Dye triggers I don’t understand why they seam to make their triggers backwards And I wish Dye would add a spring to the trigger Planet Eclipses has both magnet and spring, Dye should do the same.
If you buy all the sizes of the UL barrel backs and the carbon fiber kit you have as many sizes as any other barrel I own both these guns. Getting the bluetooth comms board for the LV2 changed my favorite in the programming category.
I feel like Dye has dropped the ball on that for like...5-6 years? The M2 Mosair had Bluetooth! Why did the R2 not? WHY?! Why has an app not been made to program the M2/M3 line? No idea if any Dye marker it will connect to the Spire IV or V yet, I don't think so.
as someone that has played since 2001 and has owned/tried pretty much every mask out there i can honestly say there isn't one I would take over the JT proflex for shear comfort and especially*** breathability ... between Proflex and I5 Specifically its no contest IMO
Selling my M3+ and keeping my LV2. The M3+ is definitely more comfortable in the hands but I hate the trigger. Hate it. And the LV2 just points perfect every time. I'm just partial to a stacked tube I guess.
The DLS is a bit of a flop so far QC and cost wise, lots of bad rn, but once they fix everything at the buyers expense LOL maybe they'll be solid. So far bad track record. LV2 is solid, the lpr thing wasn't a big deal and they weren't charging people to send in guns that could swap the part and just sent out parts to people. My only gripe with the lv2 was them getting rid of the opto trigger sensor. I also liked the lv1 pops better I think rechargeable is much better, but I think the option should be rechargeable outside the gun and the battery should be $25-30 so you can buy a spare. 9v's aren't cheap so that'd be awesome. It's expensive to buy 9v's and recharging has been 100x better for me. 9v's are a much bigger waste and I know all these people DO NOT recycle their batteries and they get thrown in the trash which you're NOT supposed to do. Doug's attitude is so closed off HAHAHA like why even be in the video?
@@weazeluchiha13 It should already have the updated parts if you got it new, but there was an issue with the HPR not LPR (I was typing too fast haha) being over tightened by adjusting the velocity and it would bend the retaining clip and it could shoot out of the gun under pressure which is obviously dangerous.
32 degrees, no paint handling issues with my DLS. Make sure you up the eye delay (especially if you are running a spire) also lower your dwell setting. Also double check your eye pip, make sure detents are positioned correctly.
@@Theaveragepaintballer Most guns will mash brittle paint in cold weather. Especially if you try to shoot paint that's normally brittle in the summer, during the winter. You need to degrade your paint type in the cold. Go to a mid grade because it will be just as brittle in the cold as the high grade is in the warmth. Read the boxes.....most paint is rated for 50 degrees and up. Bump eye delay(as you said), increase your barrel bore, reduce the stack tension on your hopper if you can or possibly increase it for slow feeding hoppers to prevent stack bobble. If you have the ability keep your paint as warm as possible and recycle cold pods to the front of the line and warmer pods to the back of the line. Get the gun shooting with a longer slower burst of air(usually higher dwell lower pressure) but that's dependent on the gun type and I'm not sure if you can do that on the DLS.
Sounds like you need a luxe lol I don’t think I have ever broke a ball before I ran a luxe 1.0 with no eyes back in 2009-2010 when they went under the radar for a while and never broke paint lol I ran it with no eyes until the 1.5 came out it was easier to buy a new gun than to track down a set of eyes back then lol
@NxtiveKxrlssxn Yeah, I sold my dls and didn't want to mess with it anymore. Any DLX, Shocker, 170r, or lv all shoot any paint. I find myself enjoying luxe or shocker. One of the gog/dlx branded marker has always ended up back in my hands for an event.
DLS is not a copy of the gtek at all, what a moronic take. I don’t like the dls at all but that’s beyond dumb. You can say the dsr line is a gamma remodel as it is, however they brought over the designer who made it and actually hired him where he refined it and made an even better version of it, so if anything the dsr is the gamma daddy of the direct line and PE is developing their gamma stuff in a separate branch of the family tree. Closest you can really get to with these but what you said is pure dip-shittery
Great comparison video but I give it 6.9/10. Joel didn't say: "Needless to say" enough times for me😁😁😁
We should make it a drinking game😂
@@ykmdinobrown right! 🤣
you forgot "and everything else like that"
Make an LV2 vs CS3.... Love these comparison videos btw, I can't stop watching them!
Waiting on the DSR+ w/ prokit review.
The next generation improvements with LV2 will start slimming out and getting more stylized milling as the lv1 line went through

thank you for weighing them more people need to do this

Need help, Dye i5 or JT Proflex? Which is more comfortable, and has better breathing?
Jt proflex for breathing

I removed the trigger magnet and replaced the M3+ trigger with a M2 trigger.
Intro song is just too hype
Guys.... shoot some B roll so that in editing you can zoom in on what you are talking about. This review might as well be a podcast.
E midblock over an LV2
The dye boards are stupid easy to go through. Like any other marker, take 10-15 minutes with the manual and you'll figure it out.
Literally PE just needs a little plano box for all the o rings

May i ask you to elaborate on the LPR issue on the LV2? I just got mine and would like to know if i need to seek out any updated parts. Thanks!

@@ConTheDon187 I run rechargeable NiMH 9V in everything I have that takes a 9V. $16 for 2 batteries and the charger from Amazon.
Bottom line is if you buy a DLS over a m3+ you would be the opposite of smart. Planet eclipse absolutely dominates it's the tip of the spear .
LV2 vs CS3
CS3 vs CS2
Yes my dls made soup out of brittle paint in 40 degrees.

It might need to go back to Dye. My DLS shoots brittle paint, in the cold, without any problems at all. Some DLSs are somehow not working correctly.
