What an amazing show, heartfelt and historically accurate. I really enjoyed LaMonica Garrett’s performance as a Buffalo Soldier. I’d watch to see a spin-off of what became of Thomas and the gypsy in Oregan. There is still so much story left.
One of the best shows I’ve seen in a very long time … so impressed with the level of acting … terrific show! I love listening to the actors process.. portraying that level of emotion takes talent
I've re-watched 1883 several times but can't watch the last episode without breaking down because of my own daughters. I agree with Faith,. As a mom, putting yourself mentally in that frame of mind would change you forever and send you to a dark place.
In the context of brilliant television series, as a College filmmaking, teacher, and filmmaker myself, I would say that there are three in the history of television. And I was born in 1953 at the so-called golden age of television. Not in any particular order but Roots, the west wing and 1883. The writing, acting, the directing in production we’re all stellar.
When we wonder why those who live in the west that are from generations of westerners why there is so much emotion, grit and determination that has carried through from there descendants.
The end scene broke my heart I sobbed
You were BOTH fantastic in Yellowstone. My husband and i binge watched the whole season. Loved it, please come back for more.

Never knew about these two people until I watched "1883". Very impressive .
Fabulous series. Do need more. My heart breaks for the ending 💔 for Elsa and Shea. Poor Joseph all alone and on one leg .

Taylor Sheridan is a fucking genius. Well written story with harsh truths about that Era. Sam Elliot was phenomenal as well.
If 1883 doesn’t win any awards. Something ain’t right
The chemistry they had on that show made it the best in the Yellowstone universe, and that’s saying something.

You know Roots was fiction? Alex Hailey wrote the book, pretending it was about his family. After he was caught, he admitted it was all fiction.
Beautiful acting, great story with tragic ending yet a new start for the Dutton family
