I’m enjoying the vids. Thank you. I just built some home speakers using various drivers I had. You can get these things that you put on one side of the speaker terminal and you can select the ohm amount to add to the speaker. I think they were $6. It was my first shot at assembling some but it worked well. Thanks again.

I know your vlog is 2 years past but i appreciated watching. I am about to get into speaker replacement sand I’ve already installed a new Sony XAVAX1000 head unit. Apparently it wont communicate with the stock sub, speaker shop said to install new amp and wire to deck with RCA, they also said the stock sub amp is in the boot and wont work with the new head unit, any thoughts there? Also, the shop wants to install 6” round instead of 6x9” and suggest new midrange as well. I see you didnt replace the midrange, have you had any problems? I will be doing the work myself but just checked in with the shop to see what they would recommend and charge…
I wouldn't think the new HU would work with the ML amp which powers the standard subwoofer. If I had kept the car I would've ripped all the ICE out and refit new however I got an offer on it I couldn't and didn't refuse.
Without a doubt your channel is the best for anything SC430. You explain every operation so slowly and thoroughly. Great stuff

Thanks, no I didn't need to replace the tweeters as they were working perfectly.
So, there looks to be a 2.75'' midrange & a 1'' tweeter in the sail panel, correct?
