@-Fernanda- I don't think these things are as normal as people are led to believe. Sure, it's common to see youtubers/instagrammers with these ultra productive routines for the camera. But average day to day people don't live this aesthetically.

I love these videos! I just started a nutrition assistant job at a hospital and I love making nurse friends! They help so much with the knowledge of the patients and what they can and can't have. Working on my Registered Dietitian Program while working :)

I normally use my dishwasher to store clean dishes to dry them lol. You are so inspiring. Before I found out I had cancer, I was a CNA and I was about to enroll for my RN. Now I’m just trying to get through with this cancer journey and hoping in my 40’s I can still live my dream 😊

Getting ready for a hopeful acceptation into my school districts nursing classes at their tech center. Ill know by next month, but doesnt hurt to know where I hope to go in the future! A lot of my teachers have said Im a hardworker on top of the fact that I hate not being busy as well as my love for helping people, which makes me sure im cut out for becoming a nurse. Lowkey motivated now, Thank you!
love these things. they help me get through high school since I get easily unmotivated, but I try to remind myself that my life can and soon will be like this. great job, with good pay, and a flexible schedule which will help me live a comfortable and happy life.
As a European, I always get a mental breakdown when Americans just eat their salad and veggies straight out the package without washing it 😭😭 I know it’s probably pre-washed but just feels so weird to me.
Anyways, I really loved this video, it’s so amazing to see how strong you are, working, working out, cleaning and everything.
I’m in nurse training (not quite sure what’s the right word for it) as well, but I just startet in august. The system here in Germany is very different and the tasks of a nurse are very different, but I still can connect to you and admire your work.
And I am sooo jealous that you get to have you’re own beautiful scrubs, we just get boring unisex white scrubs in the hospital😭😭

Being a RUclipsr is not easy. Special I'm working full-time ICU nurse. What makes me keep doing it because after making few videos I've learned a lot of things that I thought I'm not capable of.

Don’t pre-wash/rinse your dishes! Just scrape off bigger chunks off dirt. If you pre-wash it’ll reduce the efficiency of your dishwasher :)

watching this because im being really undecided rn on which to take as my college degree and i'm thinking about nursing ahahaha
New grad here. My first nursing job is on a Telemetry unit and I’m struggling. Only 4 months in and the uncertainty and anxiety is getting any better. I’m questioning my career and whether my dreams of doing L&D are out of the question. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Hang in there. Nursing is tough and even tougher as a new grad. I would give it a year, unless you truly cannot take it and then I would leave sooner. It helps to talk through your shifts with someone you can trust, and someone who understands, like a colleague or friend from nursing school. Therapy also helps. I’ve found that one way to combat the uncomfortable/anxious feeling is by learning as much as you can. I would consider purchasing your own online courses through Kati Kleber or Nicole Kupchik. They have cardiac courses, new grad courses, etc. If you want to go into L&D then I would 100% go for it. It may be possible even after just 6 months of telemetry to transfer there in your current hospital system. Otherwise, I would look at a different system if that’s what you truly want to be. While you are still in telemetry, soak it all in because that experience is invaluable and a great base of knowledge regardless of where you end up working. Try and take it one shift at a time, and one hour at a time. Remember you are one person, with 2 arms and 2 legs. Don’t beat yourself up. Try and take care of yourself on your days off. Get outside, take a walk, eat good food, call or see a friend. Do some yoga. I’ve been a nurse (tele and then icu) for 7 years. I still have anxiety at work but much better now. Also always keeping my options open helps too. I am a travel nurse with a PRN job and also a side gig from home. Not working full time every week helps a lot with burnout. Remember you belong and you are a valuable part of the team with a lot to offer. Don’t let anyone disrespect you. Welcome to the profession, we need you! The first year of nursing is deadass the hardest. I did my first year and quit and just took a break for like 9 months after because my mental health suffered. But I got a job on the surgical stepdown floor and loved it. Switched into PACU and now I’m travel nursing. I’d say it takes a full year or two to get confident in yourself as a nurse. If u have a speciality you really wanna do, go for it!! Also where u work helps too. I when from non union to a big teaching hospital that’s union and I love it. My coworker left for California from NYC and she told me that nursing there is a dream bc of the safe staffing laws in Cali! Be kind to yourself, you got this sis

I’ve just gotten a job at a hospital and its just an easy sanitizing job that could get my career started and im so excited because the hospital offers to pay for tuition if you go to the nursing school they offer and Im striving to be an RN im currently 17 about to turn 18 in december . I never understood Americans talking about the weather so much, until I moved to the US. I took my tropical island’s weather for granted.
I graduate nursing school in December and will be applying for jobs soon, this is really tempting me to go straight into outpatient instead of the hospital! Should I get that bedside experience first just for fun or should I go straight into outpatient if that's really what I want to do?
