In the young age the chatter back coating chanced that adventure was hoped for,
French polish standard mirror soaks up the light of a thousand suns with no effect,
not living this life, don’t look back in anger, the open forum invites the book war,

the glum, the profound, the electric sound,

the glee, cup of tea, the permanently wound,
the glow from ago, last history to astound,
turn on the life that services the ordinary extraordinary, the hook for making supper,
the rubber connections for the turnaround situations, the change of view for no tears,
the peers who seated round table discussions with backs to the doors, a fear of cover,
no lover on this seashore, no other coral was sweeter, the chorus of three, Greek corps,
the layers in between the sayer’s first cup, trophy for the audience that interrupts flow,
who knows the ending when it arrives to swallow all and rewrite the fall of being one there,
the release of intelligence, the moment of clarity, the knowing it all along, the slow grow,
the headlight glare, the bride stripped bare, what happened here can happen anywhere.
Fil, what a catchy hook, I’m hooked on LP lyrical ability and musicality.

Still working through the grief of losing my husband--these lyrics hit me hard.
There’s a reason why this video hit 1M views in 2 days. The line “ when it’s young and it’s fun…” I think it’s about when a relationship is young and it’s fun there’s nothing lost and nothing won because when a relationship is new you are totally in the moment/ in the “”now”. The people at the dinner party are her co-writer and producer and his wife, her guitar player and the co-writer and his gf, her assistant and her gf, and a few friends. One of the The goons that take her away is one of her managers. She’s playing Lolla in Chicago this week and I’ll be at the after show. I can’t wait.

My all time favorite artist for the past ten years. I finally got to see her live in concert in Charlotte, North Carolina. One of the coolest and most talented people I’ve ever see. She is so humble and her voice did not waver after 2 hours of singing her heart out. Absolutely AMAZING. Thank you for doing such a great reaction to her music. I feel the same way when I listen to her and cannot wait for you to review more songs of hers.
