It was great to be able to join your channel for the day. I hope people with pets who are dreaming of their own nomadic life will get some great ideas about how to make it work.

Very informative! I made a video on my channel about taking our French Bulldog from the US to Turkey. It took planes, trains, and automobiles but in the end it worked. The things we do for our pets 😂. Thanks again for a great video!

Yes, the things we do! We have now traveled to four continents and 27 countries over four years with our two canine companions. 😊

Traveling with snub nosed dogs takes an additional level of commitment since flying is much more difficult. I can tell it's worth it!

Great video! We travel with our dog around Europe without a car. We tend to stay a month or two in each location. For the Balkans we found a company called “My Day Trip” and they arrange an English speaking driving with direct point to point pickup and drop off. They allow dogs. Just let them know ahead of time you’ll be bringing one. We’ve used them several times. Prices seem to be around 300-400 euros for most of the routes we wanted to go.

It’s interesting that you bring that company up because I contacted them in 2021 and expected to use them for a trip from Sophia Bulgaria to Kotor Montenegro. They were extremely kind, and the pricing was fair for the distance.

Thanks for this video, learned a bunch. I was just telling my friend today about slow travel. I was thinking that I would like to do it but felt encumbered with a kitty, but after watching your video I have a little hope that I could maybe do it. Im thinking that traveling with a kitty might be a little easier?? Just need to find a durable cat box that wont break in a suitcase from all the other bags in the cargo hold thrown on top. Do you guys know anyone that has done slow travel with a kitty?

I actually just met a woman from New Zealand who has a cat and two dogs here in Albania. She has done quite a bit of slow traveling.
Since we have traveled with our two dogs over for continents and 27 countries, I really think you should not feel too encumbered. International Pet travel is certainly not that easy but it’s not impossible. 😃

I was just thinking of the people from OZ we met with the cat. One thing they did was leash train their cat, so that would be a helpful next step if you haven't already

Hi there! We moved in the EU twice with two cats! We kept them with us under the seat. As long as your kitty is under 8 kg, you'll be fine. We used the sherpa carriers for both TAP and Air France. We found the EU to be much easier than the UK.
