@@sashimitrash8184 Sigma 2 is bizarre. The sprites in that game aren’t RGBA, but a straight red channel. R8. And there’s some separate texture that is overlaid atop the sprites to give it whatever look it has, like stone or metal or whatever. It makes no damn sense.
I try this on LID which is a D3D9 game, I load up SpealK click Service on it as it waits for my game to load, it injects a local DLL, I dump a texture and edit it re exporting it as the DXT5 format it uses and the texture still doesn't load back in after a restart
I reload Resources and it says Blocking then the texture name but that has to do with texture streaming doesn't neccessarily mean the texture is blocked from loading at all, just it won't show until the texture has finished loading, 0 mib megabytes injected even though there is a 4 mb image in the inject folder, someone tells me I should use 3dmigoto but it's not an injector and looks to broad to use
SK has been especially fickle for people lately, as has Reshade. Some troubleshooting tips include going into the .ini and changing the API.Hook or going into Texture Management in the SK control panel and switching on/off OSD and/or Deferred Mode (though that specifically states it’s “D3D11 Deferred Mode”).
Any plans to add the DoA costume from Sigma 2 into Sigma 1? Black had it. Or any of costumes from 2? Adding DoA6 Ryu would also be awesome, as that version is the most detailed to date. It really was on oversight on their part not to add it, as it would promote DoA6 in the same way that adding the 3RE costume into SIgma 1, promoted that game.
I’m not sure if there’s an FBX to TMC importer yet for S1, like there is for RE. There might be one for S2, but I haven’t explored those kinds of mods yet. I should look into it, though-now that I can rip models from NGB. 😏
There’s two I use: the legacy NVIDIA Texture Tools Exporter plugin and the Intel Texture Works plugin. You can have both installed simultaneously and honestly, I’ve leaned on each at different times. NVIDIA: developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-exporter Intel: www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/tool/intel-texture-works-plugin.html There’s some other sweet utilities out there too, so I recommend perusing around.
hey uh... can we use this on Nioh 2... l have an issue that makes it crash when you transform or reach certain parts of the map, besides that the game runs perfectly. ldk if its am old CPU issue though
@@GuiltyGaming well thank you men l´d apreciate it very much. l will try to use it though by myself using you video as a guide. l always end up fixing these issues by myself at the end lol, l remember one time when Nier Automata came up for PC and l had a white screen of death at launch, yes, not black not blue but white, l was like wtf is even that... But l got to fix it after trying like for a week no kidding men, was so frustrated 😁

I’ve had problems with uninstalling SK, too. My personal issues have been due to still having SK files in My Documents and in my external drives, but you would have to search for yourself to see if your solutions involve modifying your registry or doing anything else.
Hmm, I’ll have to reinstall SK and look at that myself. I was having problems with it a few weeks/months back and haven’t messed with it for a good while.
What version of Reshade and Special K are you using? I'm having issues with texture viewer just straight up not working.

Yeah, we gotta guy switching in NGB assets like the health bar. He even changed the blue background images in the menus to red.

I don’t know if the plug-in is dependent on having an NVIDIA GPU-you’d have to try it out. Intel also has a DDS Photoshop plug-in.

The ninja pajamas do not like getting texture mods, it overlaps the texture onto itself and makes the whole thing look bad.
You’re likely modding the specular texture and not the color/diffuse texture. Some of them can look similar.

Just checked the exported texture in folder and looked through the relevant textures in game, I definitely didn't grab the specular map.
